Foreign ownership with Filipino workers is just as same with OFW working in other countries.. but the HUGE difference is, Filipino will work in the Philippines! Not in other countries!
But if it's still 60/40... If it's still is, then we can see in the future that the Philippines is ripe for invasion, the ASEAN brothers and sisters will leave us behind while the guants, the US and China will exploit us
Not really the same. Foreign owned companies will still offer the measly salary this country has to offer and not the high paying salaries abroad. But still, that will mean more jobs, more investments from abroad, lower price and better services for us all.
Ok lang ang 100% foriegn ownership as long as ang employees nila hindi bababa sa 80% ang Filipino.

But if in the process of having such business would entail acquiring lands, how will the lands be acquired? Will this supercede the law on land ownership? Also, can the company be managed entirely by foreigners?

For me, public utilities must be owned by our own govt so as to control the massive and constant increase in service fees and other fees.
Foreign Land ownership musnt be included for it will endanger our sovereignity and territorial possession and rights.

True, but there is separation of power in the government. Executive is different from legislative, senator can propose the bill but the president can veto that if he doesn't want to, correct me if I'm wrong.
