I think the bad reviews are people who expect the same quality as you get when you developed your film at a store. This is just quick and easy way to keep a memory, these aren't for artistic purpose. Though I did hear of it jamming and some people ruining their paper before they print. The blue card is the colour calibration card.
I have the first version and LOVE it for memory keeping! It's been a game-changer in easily printing and keeping photos
I have the first edition. I bought it for pictures with my planner. I love it! I have a bunch of pictures of my grandson in my planner.
I’d love to see how you get two pictures with one print. I’ve had my eye on this for my planner as well.

I recently started memory keeping and got the largest Happy Planner and these photos fit the columns perfectly. And today was the first time I opened my Sproket too.
The Sprocket is a game changer!! I got one for Christmas this year! I love it ❤️

Blue card helps to calibrate it so it knows where to print on the paper. It will suck it back in partially and spit it back out so don't pull it immediately.

I have one too and I love it! I think the blue paper cleans it!
The blue card is in every pack, there isn’t ink in the printer, I think it is like a thermal print system. I got this for travel journals, I have the same one you have. It has an auto shut off, and mine works best is plugged in and printing from the app. I love this so much
Battery status can effect the print quality fyi :) try it again when its fully charged ;)

Alison Forte I use the Pic Collage app. It lets you put two pics on one layout that makes two perfectly sized pics for EC boxes.
I finally know the answer to a question haha-i love the Layout app. :) really easy to use and I've used it for a few years so far

You can actually purchase multiple 20 sheet papers from bestbuy for $0.25 per paper which is cheaper! :)

Romina My sister has the Canon Ivy and I think the quality is good. I asked her to print some photos for me to put on the blank space of the new pages EC added to the life planner and I love it! I put them in with washi and it’s super cute!

You accidentally put the blue picture upside down it’s supposed to scan it to help with the quality.

Hi how long did it take for you to charge your Hp sprocket? I just got mine and it is still showing red lights 😩 I can’t even turn it on

I'm pretty sure that she has the 200 bc I have the same one. It says it on the inside on the top of the lid.

The blue card is specifically for each set of pictures if the machine doesn’t work for any reason you need the blue to fix it so don’t throw them away until you finish each pack

You can even use the hp blue card if you buy off brand zink paper you just replace the off brand blue card with the hp and load like you normally would. They can be used more then once.
