"What's with the extra backup singer?" I love that line; I always picture SG1 as a '70's disco group, or maybe an interstellar version of Fleetwood Mac...
I think I just saw the cutest, prettiest face in the Universe when Sam touched her nose the second time she was showing Valla about the food. That face was divine! I'm in love again! 🤗🤗🤗
I love how Valla smile and act when her ideas are sold like the one with FARSCAPE TO A ASPIRING ALIEN DIRECTOR. SHE GLEEFULLY ACKNOWLEDGE SHE GOT IT HOOKED.
The scene starting at 6:53 and every scene after that where it's supposed to be Vala in Daniel's body is hilarious! It really shows how amazing of an actor Michael Shanks is because he makes it really believable that it's Vala inside the body.
You could put me in the hands of sokar, burn me in the eternal fires of celestus, and bring me to the brink of death by a wraith countless times… …BUT YOU WILL NEVER MAKE ME RUB HER FEET!
That planet... where Vala really became SG-1... one of the most sad episodes of the franchise. Vala was a clown, but it was clear she was using being a clown to manipulate and protect herself from harm. Men do this, women as well... it was amazing to see that on the screen as her character developed. Her sacrifice at the super ring was a hint. In a way she is at least as profound as Jack... and thus why the producers put the character on the series. Elizabeth Weir, Zelanka, the Doctor who wouldn’t die, and Chewbacca 🤣 Money was the relation between Sheppard and McKay ... lol Chewbacca, that actor is a joke... a Ken for girls perhaps?
I'm not sure that appealing to midi-chlorians as in Darth Vader's case is any better than to magic in King Arthur's case. After all what is the difference between what the Ori did to implant Adria into Vala than what Yahweh did to implant Jesus into Mary?
I got dizzy by reading that, and I don’t mean the part about the insemination ... which Vader was saved from 🤣 You forgot to mention Yahweh is also Allah, or something ... you see? Dizzy 🤣
@@RebeccaCampbell1969 Does it make you even more dizzy when there have been several holy wars when it was suggested that Yahweh and Allah were the same? The Jews and the Muslims have been extremely sensitive about that.
Argontheaware is right. The theological differences between Yahweh and Allah are in such stark contrast, the are NOT the same. And the story of Arthur, was written to make tye deeds of Arthur more realistic to the masses, where a common man is always serving those above him, where the powerful and Sactumonius are chosen by God. The common man is told, ‘no. Arthur was always a high-born man. God personally saw to his creation.’ This keeps the idea that only those who are called to greatness have an attribute that separates them from others.
@@anom7227 So did the Ori take advantage of "where the powerful and Sactumonius are chosen by God" just to feed their energy from the belief of their followers? Was that even necessary given how many abilities that Adria could actually demonstrate?
@@ArgonTheAware the Ori couldn't directly control their followers. the priors were a means of control and to establish a hierarchy. the priors would perform miracles as the ori's messengers, and keep the masses awestruck and controlled. however, the prior's abilities were limited to their own knowledge and understanding, which is why Adria was needed. Her state was as close as possible to the ascension evovlutionary path. She was a devout follower, and gifted with the maximum knowledge to perform the will of the will of the Ori, while still having the physical ability to ascend.
Teal'c: Darth Vader
Me: Floored 🤣
Jack made him watch Star Wars

Hello Mrs Johnson
"Really? I've Always thought there's no such thing" "I know darling I've stolen it before"
Not showing her standing up to the Prior for her people was a sad oversight. That is one of the best moments of Vala as much as her humorous moments.
Yes ! She DID understand Loyalty . Just from an Odd point of view .
@@johncunningham4820 She had a very grey sense of morality. And that was what made her great.
"There was one" and three people think of three different occasions
"You were?"

I cannot say how much I love this show.

What a woman. Vala is a pleasing addition to the series.
Such an entertaining character, they could do a spin off of her.

Darth Vader😂😂😂 omg the writing in this show was 10/10

Gotta love her..
