- Salam alaikum my lovies :) A lot of you asked me to just sit down in front of the camera and do a chit chat style video like I do on Tiktok so I obliged! This is a topic that has been on my mind lately as I am currently on my Islamic self-improvement journey and assessing what is holding me back. Sorry you’re going through this. Please feel your feelings, process them, and begin to set goals and make a plan to improve your life so you’re no longer stuck with these people. Boundary work is essential.

Whenever I watch your videos I feel like you are directly speaking to me. You are really good at explaining difficult concepts in simple words. I would love to see more videos on negativity/shaytan and our nafs.

Something else I thought about when you said human beings don't realize that they're in control of their own actions is how when we commit a sin, some of us will justify it by saying that "I just have low iman right now" or "it's so hard not to do this because it's so normalized". Yes, you are valid for feeling that way and yes, you're iman will be low sometimes but don't take that as an excuse to sin. This is something that I need to work on insha'Allah.
