Murray Cod Fishing in a Crystal Clear River

Frank and I had a very early start on one of our favourite rivers for clear water Murray Cod. We were straight in to the action and scored fish on surface, hardbodies and spinnerbaits.
Lures used:
- 120mm Koolabung Cod Cracker
- D-style Reserve Hatch
- Kingfisher Mantis
- 90mm AC Invader
- 75mm Oar-gee Plow
- 1oz Gangster Spinnerbait

Cheers for all the guesses guys! As I mentioned in the video, we never measured Franks fish. His old PB was 75cm.
We estimated this one to be in the high 70’s and I reckon he definitely bumped it up a little. At a guess I would put the fish at around 77-78cm which is a decent one for this small system.

Holy sh#t, that water is clear !!!
Tbh its lucky the river murray isn't that clear otherwise the average Aussie bogan fisho that just fishes to eat would clear out the Murray of cod in no time (if no one was watching him)
