@@ellenlowery6497 Crystal has a tutorial on the full fan stitch, that is the one I'm working on now. She gave the multiple and I took it from there. It's beautiful in this yarn.
Your joy for yarn is infectious! I saw these at the store the other day and had to stop myself from putting all the colors in my cart! The ombre, the colors in general, and the softness! Caron really outdid themselves!
In addition to the joy... We have a place to go for an honest opinion and expert advice on yarns (especially if ordering online) but those opinions help even with in-store shopping (she tells if a yarn is too splitty, has a lot of knots (on a regular basis), if it's hard to frog, if there's a comparable or better yarn or yarn company that has better deals and service. The list goes on.

Very pretty! Reminds me of the 70's when I had a top that was all pink and fuzzy and so soft! Similar to your toddler dresses flowy!! I was 7 yo and wore pigtails!

I got several of these. I love them! I worked up a large swatch using the recommended needle size. It works up beautifully and is very light weight. I made a blanket from the Latte Cakes and it was heavy.
I got mine on sale with an added 30% off.
While this yarn isn't silk smooth like Latte Cakes, it is very soft and gets softer when worked up. Love this yarn.

Hello Crystal. I have an share for you…The year you did the review on the O’Go I said to self “I will never try that yarn”! Then as you well know they went on sale for .50 at Walmart. Bought all they had. 6 black 8 taupe. And later Michael’s had them on clearance as of recently for $3 but they were the bigger ring. Bought 2 cream. I figured I could crochet mini afghans for the family dogs and cats for the holiday at least. Or I could use it to make market bags. Followed the directions on the bulky packaging and whoa! This is some cool yarn! This has got to be the easiest way to use yarn. I have a million project bags, baskets, yarn containers and we can go on…I had this long rectangular plastic bag that I put the yarn in threw it on the floor and never had an issue with anything. Before I knew it project was done, loved the set up and how easily the yarn flowed the entire time. I actually like how strong it is since the furries will be using it, it will last longer. But I will say this. You made it clear it was your review and thoughts and that we should try it out so we have our own review.

The best thing about the ogo iis it gives options with the tangle free feature...people can use it as is, they can make it into a ball form or they can cake it up themselves

I just love watching you unbox or review yarn. Your enjoyment of all of the yarns is so much fun to watch. I got several of these when Jo-Ann's had them on sale last month plus I had coupon for 20% off. I got the brown, green & red ones that you showed plus the blue & purple ones. I have never seen the Latte cakes in person so I was able to just take these as they are. They are so soft & I LOVE the ombre color scheme on them. I also love that they all start & stop at the same color shade for each donut. I have never used an O'Go before, but I don't have as strong of a preference for my yarn style that you do. I just want it to not tangle or roll around while I'm trying to crochet. Because of this, I prefer anything that I can center pull, whether it's a ball/skein or a cake. Once I use this O'Go, I'm sure that I'll have an opinion about it, but for right now, I'm just loving the look of the yarn. Thanks for your review, Crystal!!

I agree with you 100%! I hate the way it’s wrapped and packaged, but love the ombré and the halo. They may not be a soft as latte cakes, but the colorways are superior to the latte cakes.

OMG! That. Is one. Damn. Gorgeous yarn. When you first showed on the first video I was like, yeah, it's pretty, but not for me. Now I see it worked up and see that ombre effect, I had to go look at all the colors. Yeah, I need to work through some yarn and wait till after my road trip. But I know I'll be stocking up some for gift giving this year and for blanket making to donate. It is sooo pretty.

While not a fan of packaging typically, it works for me with ombre because i can easily see the shading evolve. I have an order to pick up tomorrow and anxious to make some scarves for holiday gifts. Got mine for $5.99 with sale and further discount for in-store pickup.

I just bought this yarn today at Joanne's store near me, however, at regular price. I think it is worth it. I bought three of them in the color "Habor Mist" to knit (or maybe crochet) a sweater. I haven't decided which pattern to use.
