A tillana, typically performed at the end of Margam, as the concluding piece in a bharatanatyam recital reflects the ecstasy of finally realising Krishna in this composition. “Come quickly oh krishna”, says the devotee, “delay no longer, and reveal your beautiful face to me”

Wow...the purest form of dance and the purest joy...feels like the lord himself is dancing and your terrace is a world turned into a stage for the lord...cannot collect words to praise you enough...you yourself is a big celebration of this art form...staring from neck movements, eyes everything is mesmerising....you turnaround your self in a fraction of second...I think I could not wink during whole presentation....you just rule our hearts...

Dancer moves are great, vocal and violin did a perfect job,
Kuthuhalam means happiness and rAgam Kadanakuthuhalam is meant to bring immense joy to its listeners! The swaras in the ArOhaNam of this joyful rAga is S R M D N G A P S'. These out of sequence swaras themselves seem to be jumping over one another constantly. Often I used to wonder how many singers can do justice to this complex thillana by Si. Balamurali Krishna in this tongue twisting rAga! It is a pleasure to listen to this joyful raga and enjoy the spectrum of movement in the choreography. Usually I will be able to guess the sequence of adavus - but not this time. Thank you for the visual and musical feast. Be blessed!
I didn't understand the words/raag but could understand the emotion of happiness and joy may be that's the power of Art be it music or dance.

No wonder it is one my most favourite Bharatanatyam Music and memorized the whole raga more easily 😃😃
The advice to mix tradition and modernity is cliched, uninteresting. What's interesting is a piece like this which is both refreshing and self-renewing. If the dancing is experimental and masterful, then singing too is both seductive and liberating. You may find a few purists cringing in lost corners of the earth but indeed this is how traditions reinvigorate and survive.

2. Get a better camera setup. These need a multiple camera and proper mixing. Having said this the current setup is not bad.
Please share details of where you get your costumes as part of the videos. Fellow men will agree that it is difficult to go out shopping searching for those brilliant saris and those Saturday mornings never end. Tailor is a different problem; for another day.

As for as I was taught in Bharathanatyam the movements are equally shared by both the right and left sides equally
But here most of the nrutha is performed from the right side
IT it a progressed version or something else

It's not a adavus (basic bharatnatayam steps). This is a repetiore which is meant for performance which will not share same musical rhythm on both side and that reflects in dance too. Plus there is no such rule on performing on both side equally.

i think you should organise the shows at famous temple mandaps by by taking permission from temple authorities this will provoke many young minds to learn this and get attach to our culture. once or twice in a month .. or if u have ur students... then it will be easier.
