Comment down below if you recognize the music at the beginning of the video. Also, y'all tips are actually helping me. i feel like I'm actually getting slightly better at this game.
Dude I'm not even kidding, I beat Dark Souls around 4 or 5 times and I NEVER saw that strange spell at 2:06 Still really enjoying these videos, keep going! And you did well giving the Ember to André. Now you arrived in the bad part of town, good luck and lock the car's door when you're at a red light. This boss is still among the ones I have the most trouble dealing with legit after all this time
You can buy a repair box from Andre the Blacksmith so you can repair equipment at any bonfire. There's also a smithbox for sale so you can upgrade equipment on your own at bonfires as well, not just at the smith.
Lmao the capra demon was one of the most painful bosses for me, it made me rage quit on my first playthrough Ur strats seem pretty solid tho u got thiss :>>>
bro dont worry bout what chat thinks, if you wanna run armor, run armor, if you wanna shoot a magic missile, go ahead and shoot a magic missile, its your run bro, just have fun.
I'm just gonna leave a little bit of help against capra. If the dogs are your biggest problem you can get rid of them before entering the arena by freehand throwing bombs over the wall where the fog gate is. There is a spot to stand on and stuff to aim at in order to line up the throws. If you hate capra like you've never hated anything else you can get enough fire bombs to kill him without entering his boss room. But I'd say that he's not that hard when the dogs are deleted. You can also get a really cool weapon very early if you shoot off the dragon's tail that's on the big bridge. I say shoot because it is the safest way since you can do it from a spot just below that main bridge. Depending on your damage with the bow you might need to shoot it upwards of 10 times before it breaks off (you can also bait the dragon to come down on the bridge and fight him or cut his tail that way). In DS1 pretty much everything with a tail can have it severed and will give you a special weapon :) The skeletons down in the crypt are bound to a Necromancer and they will be resurrected by him infinitely if you don't kill him first. You can also stop the skellies from rising by killing them with a Divine weapon (that you can craft now that the blacksmith got the divine ember). Armor is very powerful in DS1, just brute force tanking through damage is a viable strategy (it's not that fun, often you will walk slower than a dead snail). The important thing is to use the armor that has the best type of damage negation against a boss and the damage type it outputs. This also goes for shields and their damage negation. any way, I've subbed and eagerly wait for more!
Some tips: Learn to parry; you can parry with just about anything but its easier to do with a shield, you can parry most humanoid enemies (including the black knights you found earlier) and get i-frames while you do it. Backstab enemies; if you attack an enemy from the back then you may be able to land a back-stab attack that almost instantly kills them. You get i-frames while doing this too. A good rule of thumb is that if you can back-stab an enemy, then there's a good chance you can parry them too. Vitality (health), endurance (stamina), and Strength/Dexterity, should be the main ones you level up. Whether you level up strength or dexterity depends on what weapons you want to use later on; strength is usually the slow and hard hitting weapons (greatswords, clubs, etc) and dexterity are for the faster hitting weapons (katanas, scythes, falchions, etc). There's 3 types of rolling: fast, medium, and fat. As long as your weight lets you fast roll, you can wear whatever armor you want, you don't have to be armor-less simply because you've seen other people do it, this game is meant to be fun not a challenge (ironically). Focus on spending your souls on leveling your character and when levels start to get too expensive, level your weapons, chances are you'll probably be past the mid-point of the game and be able to get decent levels for you weapons. You should only upgrade armor if you're dead-set on that's what you want to ear for the rest of the game knowing it's stats. Explore everything, you'll usually find some good stuff (including bonfires) If you plan on beating the DLC, do it before killing the final boss because it will automatically start new game+ when you beat the game and you gotta play through the whole thing again to get to the DLC. Good luck, you're doing really amazing!
@@IAmGDUB for your weapon, it’s honestly whatever you’d like since any weapon not trash can get you through the end of the game. You just need to check if it’s a strength or dexterity weapon and level up the stat for it to be more effective. Your standard long sword is decent, the Zweihander you picked up is a really good strength weapon but you’ll probably need to two-hand it to effectively use it. if you go back to undead burg (or parish, area where you fight the first black knight) there’s a merchant you can kill that will drop a really nice katana. Be warned, once you kill him he’ll never respawn so only do it if you really want that sword. You can also get it from a merchant in blight town by joining the covenant in the dark root garden. That same merchant will also have a body guard that drops a ring that will replace your dodge with a cartwheel which makes dodging so much better but I wouldn’t recommend getting it right now since he’s tough to kill and you don’t want to accidentally kill the merchant while fighting him. For shields, I think you already have a good one called the Balder Shield, you want to check the stability stat for each shield since that is what determines how much stamina gets drained when you block an attack (higher stability = less stamina use)
Little tip: im struggling there too but to make things easy you can get to the stairs walling by right and you start killing first the dogs and then eith capra demon i suggest to use a shield oh and also di you unlock the shortcut to the starting area? If not go where there was a merchant but keep walking until you find a door
Get your Vitality to 30 and Endurance to 20. That's a good starting point fir any melee build. If you go back to the dragon on the bridge, you can shoot an arrow at it and run past it to the bonfire. One of the items it's guarding is the Claymore.
Congrats with beating moth, though you could successfully spamroll like 90% of the time. For Capra Demon try to get upstairs and kill dogs first, but beware of a jumping attack. Other than that is pretty nasty fight, Baldur Side Sword worked for me(love it's movements)
armor is just about the drip, but with shields you do actually want to pay attention to their stats, to see how much damage they can block. also even if a shield can block swords really well, it might not be good at blocking magic/lightning/fire and such
Tip:you could have summoned the lady witch and watched her fight the boss for you her summon sign is near the bush area before starting to climb the stairs 😅
if u want a great sword that u can use till at least mid to late game, pick up astoras sword. You can open a door (go to firelink, take staires down, when you go down the elevator go to the right and then u will somehow get to the dragon area, which also leads you to blighttown(i cant do it anymore) )with the masters key and get it, its extremely good because u can permenantly kill skeletons, since it does holy damage. Its also my first time playing ds 1 so actually idek if this weapon is as strong as i say it is, but ive had no real problems till now using it. btw the sword is located next to a sleeping dragon, which WILL molest you when you pick up the weapon. its worth tho
You can spend much time getting good at just this impossible fight (through mist go *right* first, then to stairs, then to top of stairs, then on top door arch in the very corner, then fumble something in panic and hope that dogs die and shield holds... if that sometimes works, try to get a drop attack on demon and start dancing with it. probably takes few chaotic screaming attempts). Or summon some Sunbro or such to kill these nasties for you, while you enjoy refreshing Estus drinks.
You can use the broadsword of you want to use a weapon and a shield and you need to upgrade your weapons too thats inportant and youre playing warrior you should put your vitality to 30 and then upgrade your strength and endurance that will help you with thr game
You can wear armor, but if you perfer the no armor strat then i would recommend wearing the pants and some rings of your choice. The elite knight set is pretty good too, but if you use the elite knight set i would recommend havels ring.
you can stagger bosses with the zweihadner its a amazing weapon, use that to like stagger and then use the long sword. I use only the zweihander also a tip, kill the dogs and dont the demon hit you especially that pummell attack when you get smashed to the ground, that shit will definitly make you lose the boss
LITTLE UPDATE IF WHAT I TOLD DOESNT WORK U CAN TRY WHEN U ENTER THE FOG TO DODGE TO LEFT THE DOGS SHOULD BE COMING AND I SUGGEST TO USE LONG RANGE WEAPON LIKE HALBERD , GOOD LUCK BRO U GOT THIS❤
If you ever plan to do the dlc you can pretty much access it by mid game and trust me it's gonna be hard and also if you can get mid rolls with an armor that offers good defense and poise you can pretty much stick to it by the end of the game.
Ah yes the Crapra Demon. Not fun. Probably the worst part about the first half of the game. But once you get past it, there's lots of great things to experience! Perseverance! Keep pushing! You got this!
@@Melotaku the bed of chaos is the only reason i put debatably in my comment😭both are bad but i think for an early player having your boss fight decided by just the dog’s ai in the first seconds of the fight is more frustrating than a boss everyone by now knows as the worst

give bro a good weapon and he’s beating it all
I know a cheese. But I would only recommend it to take out the dogs.

going naked on your first playthrough is wild lol. you're doing good though, keep it up.
I was waiting for your video
Videos fire ngl. Keep going
You can hide behind the fire at the lower undead burg to kill the dogs easier.
Thanks man. Imma need all the help I can get with this boss. I’m hearing he’s really hard to fight.
One benefit of heavy armor is poise which means you don't immediately get staggered by light attacks.
