It's because hot (read warm) food increases the experiance. Cold chicken help to cool the effect. But great video. It was like watching you play the Mauerbrecher - Torture! :D

I tried Da Bomb once.
Dipped the tips of a fork into it and dragged it across a sausage, all taste was gone and only pain remained.

Heyy, you know what..
I have some tips for y'all..
First thing to do before you want to eat some spicy food/sauce
Make sure, You've been drinking cold water 10 minutes before you eat spicy food/spicy sauce..
Or alternatively, you can drink 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil before eating it..
Why? This will make your stomach less painful..
Have I been try it? Yes, it was so dammnn gooddd

I think putting it on fried chicken helps fight the heat. Fat helps remove the burn. Still you also took it with a spoon! I'm impressed

Very nice to see you champion the entire box! Good sauce tastes good, and enhance what you're eating, then the heat creeps up on you. Some sauces have no flavor, only heat-garbage. Use milk to help cut the oil next time.

lol, yup da bomb was my worst for me, made tears come to my eyes and had to wait almost 45mins before i could continue lol beware of da bomb!!

I have tried a lot of these hot onces sacues and to me Los Calietes is delicious as well as being quite spicy, I just think skill didnt put enough on. I will be ordering that one again.

Dip it in the last 3 soses. Da Bomb you have quite of it on chicken the last 2 is just a safe measure.
Skill only eats HEAT while tanking
all chilis have this substance called capsaicin, which is the substance that gives u the "tingles" or the burning feeling. And capsaicin "binds" to ur tongues tastebuds, so basically think about it this way. It forms like this web on ur tongue, everyspot it touches and it's unbreakable with water, but milk has this substance called casein what has the ability to break the capsaicin web.
So inconclusion, never drink water when u have eaten something spicy, it's useless. It just eases the pain as long as u have water in ur mouth.

Skill, buddy, ideally the chicken is cooked in the sauce. If not, then your dabs are way too small to have got the effect of the early ones. Da Bomb sauces are very heavy on the pepper. I've tried Da Bomb - the Final Answer which is 1.5m scoville and just hurts!

Im also a fan of Hot ones and tasted some sauces including The Last Dab and most of them are tasty imo 🤷♂️ just a friendly reminder for future, use milk to counter spicy 😉
I think the guys at Hot Ones are really biased because every episode I have seen the people get punched around from "Da Bomb" but the next 2 don't hit them as much , like they are afraid to say it is the strongest.
No hate to Hot Ones, i love them and their content [the ones with Gordon is my fave and so funny, recommend you watch!]
It is because the last 2 are made with actual peppers. Da Bomb uses pepper extract/ pepper mash. This increases the heat way more. It hits instantly with just the capsicum and no supporting tasty flavour - so it is insanely hot and nasty tasting.
The Scoville units are legit... but lab results and how it hits your mouth are different.
TL;DR: The Scoville units are not bullshit. Pepper mash and extract are super bullshit and that is what Da Bomb uses. (At least Da Bomb Beyond Insanity. I have never tasted or even seen this new Da Bomb.)

The Scotville unit must be a Lithuanian heat measurement scale for chilies. It can't possibly be Scots, because turnips are considered spicy in Scotland. 😆
