When I came home for a month leave from the military back in the 90's, I needed a ride. I found an old 1980 Mercury Colony Park station wagon from some old lady for $300. I loved that car lol. If you can screw the rest of the game on the first map it’s not a well thought out game, I just bought it and and running the first map and i have to say the UI is atrocious to the point you can only screw yourself on the first map. Plus my first map does not match his, some of the trailers he could just open have broken keypads that it suggests your hand being the best tool to use but nothing happens when you use your hands so you can’t get into them. Add that to the fact the backpack UI is a pain in the butt and you can only carry so much stuff, how are you even supposed to collect everything you find!
Oh i loved every single second of this play through. You appeared on my feed, for the first time, just as I was grabbing my coat, and heading out the door. It is now 2 hours, 44 minutes, and 27 seconds later, and I'm still here! WTF??!! Sold, Subbed, & SMH.
I like the remnant lore of obsession explains why your picking up EVERY single piece of junk and scrap the entire drive. It’s the remnant car influencing you to collect parts and repair the vehicle!
Every Horror game looks like it’s based In the state of Oregon, which makes it pretty creepy when it gets dark, Specifically camping in the woods here, I really like this game it’s cool how you have to survive with the car.
I’m about 50 hours in and still plenty more to do, I’ve spent a lot of that time rerunning areas for loot and exploring. It’s such an immersive and amazing game that for me is up there with Subnautica, it shares a lot of similarities with that game i think, especially with having to upgrade your vehicle to go further into the zones. I love the attention to detail with your car, garage as well as the atmosphere. Theres some really creepy environments with random events like eerie darkness and powerful stormy weather that can flip or push your car as well as strange anomalies, that all combined gave me almost the same feeling of dread like the deepest parts of Subnautica did. Soundtrack is incredible. My game of the year so far. Oppy’s voice sounds like Jane Lynch (40 year old virgin) to me, i know it’s not her though thanks to imdb, it’s Tara Langella and she’s worked on a tonne of games including God of War. Edit, around the 2:25:30 mark, he says he’s going to be so careful to not damage the car, which has a smoking engine and he’s been driving on two flat and bald tyres for ages 😂🤦♂️

Fooster did you know that when you die in this game you can get all your stuff back just by going to your grave. I have noticed that many don't know this simple fact. Nice video
FYI, the voice of Oppy is Tara Langella. She's done voices for The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout New Vegas, and quite a few other games. Tobias is Jeff Wong, and Francis is Michael Turner fwiw.
Please please upload a full playthrough. This video length is perfect, as stated by other comments. We can tell you enjoy the game by your voice. Please give us all of this game.
Ive gotten most of the way through the game, and my car is a tank. I have the best parts, the best wheels, the best gear, and storage for days. I don't leave the base without four repair putties, one spare of every tool, and one full stack of the other repair items. I even keep a spare lightning rod, a wind turbine, and water-fuel converter. It rains so often, I rarely run low or need to top up. Then there's the spare fuel tank, two gas cans (never forget your mini gas can, either, and keep it topped up, because it can be a life saver in a pinch), two spare headlights, and four good extra tires, so I can go on some long trips without any worries. Even the anomalies are only a minor threat after figuring them out. Example: abductors chase moving objects, so keep flares handy. When an abductor starts sniffing around, or is just in the way, wait for it to stop, and then max power yeet a flare under it. It'll chase the flare like an excited, flying puppy. And so many kinds of bunnies! My favorite is the one that fixes the car. I once had three of the little guys clinging to three parts of the car, and I'd move them around as they finished fixing each part up. Shame you can't keep them in a storage compartment of the car. It'd sure save on repair putty (speaking of, you need chemicals to make it, and you abandoned a thing of it, which made me mildly concerned and annoyed (I'm a hoarder in the game, and loot every single thing I can until the car and backpack are full)). And early game, you want to hang around the early areas and just gather parts and materials before buggering off. Once you have better than summer tires, and proper panels, lights, and doors, you're ready for more. And I think your engine might have been damaged towards the end, which wasn't doing you any favors for speed. I've limped into the portal on three flats and a blown out tire. Oh, and quirks. When the horn honked because you shut the trunk, that was a quirk. The car develops them over time. Some are mildly annoying, some are absolutely ruinous, but some are extremely helpful. I had one where having the headlights on *recharged* the battery, and another where having the engine on made the car drive faster (like a turbo). It then developed one where it became more fuel efficient when the wipers were going, and as long as the headlights were on, they became brighter (self charging, super bright headlights are amazing, lemme tell ya).
I was born and raised on the Olympic Peninsula. I will be grading this game on it's geographic accuracy...LOL The flora, terrain and the weather certainly check out. In the Pac NW, if you don't like the weather, just give it a minute.... It'll change.
Oppy sounds just like Wilhelmina Bertha Packard from the movie Atlantis: The Lost Empire, which is voiced by Florence Stanley, but it can't be, because the voice actress has already perished! Her voice also reminds me of Margerite Maida from Subnautica. But it can be the raspiness in their voices and the way they carry themselves, they are very cool women characters and it transpires in the way we hear them
One thing you need to check more often is your tires. The car was not killing you there at the end, you just had a broken wheel. All could have been avoided if you just fix the wheel. Super cool stuff though.
That sounds like an incredible survival game! Just you and your car against the world, a true test of skill and resourcefulness. Best of luck out there! 🚗🌍
I can't wait to play this. I moved 3k miles away to live in a similar area of the Olympic peninsula for 10 years .. just because it was so beautiful and magnetic. (Thankfully there were no ugly walls.. Just werewolves and sparkly vampires where I lived close to Forks, WA. ;) It really was the most amazing place I've ever lived or been though. Can't wait till I can afford to go back.

2:18:31 the little spaceship coming down from the rear view mirror while your panicking 😂😂😂 just so random that was awesome 😂
Haha, I noticed that as well
Oh i loved every single second of this play through. Most others I've seen for this game have rushed through it so hard and I ADORE that you're taking the time to really play with the various mechanics and features in it. Thank you for making it feel so very immersive and noting all of the quirks that clearly set the game apart.
the rushers? ah, yes. the tiktok generation. it's too bad for em, they miss out so much :))
The game looks and feels so atmospheric, really a great effort by the designers. I admit I was half expecting the storm to blow away the antenna as soon as you put it up.
Love the 2 hour videos!! 2 hours of Fooster freaking out and exited at the same time is gold 😂😂
Thats incredibly kind of you and very generous, thank you blake! ♥️
75 bucks?!?! Aight ima make a movie like this 😂😂
@@Repic_da_acoustic Nah only 74.99 bro😂
75 usd? For what? For playing a game, and being stupid as fuck about it? 😂😂😂
@@mepik15I guess that what pays now a days
Man wish there was more games like this. One thing missing from this emerging genre is wheel support would love this on a wheel
Love your videos man they always cheer me up it's been a year since my father passed away and I watch your videos to help cope so thank you
1:32:00 the friendly dumpster gives Fooster a panel. He ignores it and crafts new ones. Way to make the dumpster feel appreciated.
The car jumping at 49:30 like it was relaxing and then remembered it was supposed to be a car is so funny to me XD.
Your car had a flight tire that's why it was trying to turn right all the time, I was screaming at the screen the whole time 😂.
Fooster, Loot EVERYTHING...let the Loot Gremlin run wild - you gonna need it all...
1:51:30 all that went through my head was " He is gonna get him self killed isn't he? no survival instincts whatsoever"😂
Thank you for the hours of fun that you provide for us all. Appriciate it!
Thank you very much for the support Hilde! ❤️
Norwegian kroner?
You need to embrace your inner loot goblin and search EVERYWHERE whenever your in a safe area.
3:40 is exactly why i watch your content. the vibe you give with your videos is incredible. Thank you so much Fooster!
Thank you for watching manfredweberhofer... that was hard to type lmao
"A crude panel? I'll just put this over here for when I need it." Proceeds to craft two brand new crude panels to repair the car.
Nice. xD
I think you missed the part of the survival audio log (2:00:30+) where Oppy says : "Look what LIM technology did, what I did"
Thanks for the awesome content Fooster !! have a blessed day 😁
i have never shouted at my screen as much as today. this guy is so clueless at the simplest things its infuriating. "Siphon fuel from the broken down car" "This one?" YES THE ONLY ONE AROUND!!
😂
Right? Low IQ for sure.
I must say Fooster, I've never really "Joined" a channel before. But the amount of effort and feeling you put into each and every one of your videos makes me obligated to thank you in one way or another. I'm quite new to your channel, only been watchin' since the mist series, but I'm happy enough that I'll stay around much longer(hopefully)
Much love and respect to you and I hope you get to places even higher than where you are now. And remember, you have a whole community behind ya! 👍
It's amazing how quickly people are drawn to Fooster!! I've been around maybe a year, and he really is everything I wanted him to be! It's hard to find someone that's not only good at gaming, but also entertaining! Add a ton of humility, and love for his community that you can genuinely feel, and that's just Fooster!! (Make sure you check out the shenanigans he gets into with Fisk. They're a riot!)
Welcome in Asimos! Thank you very much for the kind words and I appreciate the support 👍
Welcome to foosters cult asimos!!
*Reads the caution and fixes everything but the wheel*: “Yeah, the vehicle is green.”
The yellow wheel: am I a joke to you?
Fooster talks about loving the audio in this game but never hears the flat tire going "WHUMP WHUMP WHUMP" like @1:54:04 🤣 you're such a goober bro
You appeared on my feed, for the first time, just as I was grabbing my coat, and heading out the door. It is now 2 hours, 44 minutes, and 27 seconds later, and I'm still here! WTF??!!
Sold, Subbed, & SMH.
Yes. I needed a fooster video today
It's funny how you're getting attached to the Remnant car on 2nd hour of the gaming process... :D
Looks to be modeled after a 1977 Caprice Estate Classic. I grew up in one of those.
I like the remnant lore of obsession explains why your picking up EVERY single piece of junk and scrap the entire drive. It’s the remnant car influencing you to collect parts and repair the vehicle!
Every Horror game looks like it’s based In the state of Oregon, which makes it pretty creepy when it gets dark,
Specifically camping in the woods here, I really like this game it’s cool how you have to survive with the car.
Did anybody else notice that the years between the Exclusion Zone being built and the present time in the game…is 51 years…? 👀
i finally found the gamer who likes surfing through things, i cant afford gaming so i ended up watching and many time i got pissed off buz people dont really like crafting and stuff but u made me happy thx bud really want the part two
Enjoyed the gameplay i would love a part 2
Fooster did you know that when you die in this game you can get all your stuff back just by going to your grave. I have noticed that many don't know this simple fact. Nice video
FYI, the voice of Oppy is Tara Langella. She's done voices for The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout New Vegas, and quite a few other games. Tobias is Jeff Wong, and Francis is Michael Turner fwiw.
Subscribed just because of this video! Hopefully it becomes a series!
Please please upload a full playthrough. This video length is perfect, as stated by other comments. We can tell you enjoy the game by your voice. Please give us all of this game.
Hey man, this is the first video of yours that I watched, and it was so much fun. Please finish this game, can’t wait to watch!
1:50:38 love how you just read about how it REPAIRS tools and you put in batteries... You deserve that.
I will be grading this game on it's geographic accuracy...LOL
The flora, terrain and the weather certainly check out. In the Pac NW, if you don't like the weather, just give it a minute....
It'll change.
Calm down, Fisk! Leave the buttons alone! Lol
That guy was very lucky to be teleported inside as a whole. Imagine waking up and seeing your liver floating above the ground outside pf your body
That sounds like an incredible survival game! Just you and your car against the world, a true test of skill and resourcefulness. Best of luck out there! 🚗🌍
I always love watching fooster and fisk play the same game but separately because you get to see the diffrent levels of derp 😂
You might've haven't noticed it, but as soon as you grab the Anchor, it shows 2.5K of (Rads?) and your health getting lower...
I can't wait to play this. I moved 3k miles away to live in a similar area of the Olympic peninsula for 10 years .. just because it was so beautiful and magnetic. (Thankfully there were no ugly walls.. Just werewolves and sparkly vampires where I lived close to Forks, WA. ;)
It really was the most amazing place I've ever lived or been though. Can't wait till I can afford to go back.
Bro, you were a recommend based on my big watches. Since Jack retired and a few of my other big watches have slowed down I’ve been hunting for my next content creator to binge and your content scratches a much needed itch in a solid way. Much love from a new sub.
Your video came up on my feed and the game sounded interesting. I was laughing at you casually taking in the scenery as your character was dieing. Ha ha, love your positive vibes man!!
I really like your videos I never get tired of watching them, even though they're long, furthermore you've got a good sense of humour, so keep it up!
hey fooster not fully watched the video yet , but the T key is your friend in this game it allows you to quickly grab or deposit all materials towards the current inventory selected , quick looting is a must in the later stages of the game and the T key is a button you gonna press without thinking
There's a button to transfer all your materials at once. Also scan everything.
console shifter with a column shifter - love it
i absolutely love long videos and that game looks absolutely epic . you earned a sub
Good on you my friend. Glad to see some regular, and more importantly good hearted folks get out of the rat race and build a community.
I didn't know I wanted a Herbie Stalker collab, this is incredible!
I'm watching you in tv so i can't comment that i wanted you to make longer videos but i use my cellphone to type this comment, keep it up you are my favorite TH-camr!!!
Oh this is great lad, GIVE US MORE!!!
Foo bro you have no idea how happy I was to see this as a recommendation, the last vid of your I watched was just as Icarus came out...damn bro glad to have you back , just subbed so i didn't need to miss out anymo🕊️
Damn, this game looks mighty fine! I love the atmosphere, it kinda gives you a feel of first Alan Wake. Remote place, unknown and danger lurking nearby...
If you're into 'driving horror games', you might want to look into a game called 'Beware', I've seen it played on another YT channel, and it looks like something you would be be interested in.
almost a mil views. come on fooster we need a part too
Brrooooo. That "Ahhh We're going in" with the verb!?!? Nice touch. Gave me chills.
Oh man , I’m really enjoying this., love it so far! 😊
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the longer videos. Would love to see more of them! Thank you!
Foosters movies are so good i spend every time watching them from start to end with popcorn, drink and pure enjoyment! :)
