Taking The Traxxas TRX4 High Trail Edition K10 Pickup Out On The Rocks!

- I give a quick introduction to the Traxxas TRX4 High Trail Edition K10 pickup and then take it out on the rocks for some crawling action. This is a great 1/10 scale remote control trail truck and crawler in a classic square body form. The Truck features portal axles, locking differentials, a factory installed lift kit and a 2 speed gearbox. Enjoy!

She's a beauty. I got black and then got an extra red body from Jenny's RC. Now I'm hoping for a late 60's or 70's Ford and a 70's Power Wagon. That would be amazing.
I might have to pick up an extra body in black, I beat this one up pretty good, but that's also what it was made for. I love me some classic trucks as well, I would enjoy an old Jeep J10 step side or a 71 chevy.

ROA- what mods do you have planned?
@Philip Mazzuca I've removed the stock body and now have the pro-line Chevy half cab with the pro-line rear caged. Removed the splash guards/original mounts and added aluminum shock tower mounts. Just need front cab mount. I'm not sure what I'm going to use. Was thinking magnets because I don't want to drill into the hood

It all depends on preferences and what you want to accomplish with it really. I keep it fully locked while crawling and just unlock when traveling any longer distance, really don’t mess with in between states.

Thanks! Yeah, the TRX is my daily, and makes a great RC support rig. Glad I don’t have a commute for work atm so I don’t die with poor gas mileage tho 🤣
