Irons is the epitome of the traits actors hold most dear and has always been a generous mentor to SCAD acting students. In recognition of his monumental achievements in acting and longtime friendship, he received the SCAD Etoile Lifetime Achievement in Cinema award at the inaugural SCAD Lacoste Film Festival. While under the Provençal sun, he caught up with Paula Wallace to look back on career highlights, explore some of his most recent films “Munich: The Edge of War” and “House of Gucci,” and celebrate their shared commitment to historic preservation and adaptive reuse.

I saw him in Ireland a while ago,he looks really healthy,I wonder if he has started a new health regime.I saw his last released movie The Beekeeper and he looked really great in that for his age. His 75 now,I first met him in 1980 his really talented and intelligent,you can talk for hours with this man just about any subject.
