Thank you so much for your video on inks and ink pads. You are so informative and honest in your videos. I love it. I learn so much from you - I'm a beginner at age 79 and love this hobby. Thank you again.
Don't know how anyone can stamp without the Misti, the most precious item in my craft room. Buy Misti as small business invention. Wonderful inspiration and howling laughter. Love your tutorials. Blessings for health and safety for you and your family.
Hello I just saw a couple of your video and love how quick and easy you make a dozen or so cards! I love your no nonsense approach to crafting ad I am the same way! I don't like when demonstrators blah on and on about this and that, just get down to the project. That's you! Glad I found your channel ❤
I so enjoyed the many techniques you showed here. I have a stamp positioner, and I use it nearly ALL the time when stamping. It has made stamping possible for me. Otherwise, I just could not line up things.
Wow! Another awesome video! I really like the card where you wiped some of the ink off the stamp, and buffed out the hard lines. The card was amazing when you finished it! I gotta try that idea TODAY!! The sponge tape on different levels was cool! It gave the card a total new look. LOVE it! Thanks so much Laurel! xx
Wow, Laurel, that ink buffing and shading technique with the Catherine Pooler ink, mandala stamp and dies really knocked my socks off! Thank you so much for sharing with us!
I’ve not heard of Misty until today while listening and discovering your You tube videos. Love the inspiration you have given me. I have a gel pad and that was clever using stencils. Thank you!
Hi Laurel! So happy to come across your channel and just subbed. Can you tell me where I could get that full page stamp you used at the 4:30 mark?? I have got to have it ! Thanks so much.
I love these ideas you have a shared with us. I have a mandala stamp and die set but didn’t know what to do so now I will try these with mine. Thankyou 🙂🌈
Wow Laurel! So many wonderful cards. Thank you for sharing all of these tips and techniques. I found myself smiling throughout the entire video. Love your personality!
Love the mandala card with the blue & the way you offset the middle. I thought the card was very striking with the little pieces hanging off the edge (before you trimmed them off). Guess they would have to be cut to fit in an envelope unless you used an oversized one.
For the record, I love your “babbling”. :). Love how to you used multi colors on the large stamp and the blender brush technique on the CP stamp. Looks like I need to get me a “Magic Mug” and some new CP stamps. :) Cool, cool, cool! (Waiting on my shipment for that glue). Hugs on your Sunday!
I so enjoy watching you make cards. And listening to your narrative! I’m always waiting for your next video. Thank you for making my day a little better.
Started watching your videos recently. Was wondering what is the name of the glue? I am always in the lookout for a good liquid glue. I tend to be heavy handed and appreciate glue that dies invisibly. Thanks for your humor and the tutorials!
Hi, I am new to your channel and I must say I love it, your ideas are amazing. I looked for the link for the glue and "bear" refill that you were referring to and I can't find it, Could you please let me know the name and where to purchase? Thank you in advance.
I enjoy your videos so much! I still use my handmade original MISTI too! I’ve added every size over the years and love them all! Great techniques and cards💕
Fun video. I like the MISTI but it was not in my budget so I have another brand I really like. A bit different but works well. Thanks for sharing your ideas. Enjoyed your creative process.
@@debbiecomerford-lalonde2699 Mine is a "Precision Stamp Press" made by Couture Creations. I got a really good deal on it at the time of purchase, not sure what they go for now or how available they are.
Thank you for sharing! You were on a roll girl! Appreciate the skill share class link, sounds like a great deal! My favorite was the Large Mandela stamp too, I’ve had it in my basket for a while now Hahaha 😂 Signed up @ $4.95 a month for 1st year! 👍🏼
Laurel - Love your energy and your thoroughness without dragging through the project! I don't yet have a stamp positioner, but the Misti is very expensive. I was wondering if you have had any negative comments on less expensive brands. Great video, and I look forward to more :)
Faith Willey - for what it’s worth, I just got the Press to Impress by Crafts Too and it seems really sturdy. The previous one I had (it went in the bin so I can’t check but I think it was the Hampton) broke at the hinges which were hard, brittle plastic, not long after I got it, so whatever you go for, check out the strength of the hinges. I’m in the UK so my options may be different
I'm not sure of another I can personally recommend as I have only ever used the MISTI. Hopefully, other readers will see this comment and chime in on what they like.
I have an original MISTI that is sitting in a drawer collecting dust. I use my stamp perfect all the time . Waiting in the wings is a Tim Holtz stamping platform that I am saving as a back up. Together they cost less than my MISTI. I also have a Crafters Companion stamp platform that works great...also much cheaper . There's also one made by Bira Crafts...half the price. I can tell you there is no difference between the cheaper products and the Misti.
I didn't see the type of glue that you love in the list of stuff that you used. Also, do you find that the cards warp when using liquid glue VS tapes or when you use water colour?
Good eye! I adore it. It's nice and large. I haven't ever flipped it over to use the other side. I like to work against black. It cleans easily. It does slide around a bit on my glass surface so I just placed a baking sheet underneath to control that!
I have a misti that’s a few years old. Lately, the paper lifts up when I pull back on the door with my stamp! Any ideas why this is happening? Thank you.
Its likely your stamp and not the misti itself. Try cleaning the stamp with some water and mild soap. That happens to me too! Sometimes, even the magnets aren't strong enough!
Is it just me or is it hard when you first start stamping to get the ink consistent and to not look blurry or like there isn't enough ink on your stamp. Especially in just sentiments! Yours always look beautiful and perfect!
Water, lol.... There are recommended plastic cleaners she sells, which I have. But I seem to be too lazy to get it and just wipe it clean with water and a microfiber cloth.
Hey Laurel! I'm finally playing catch up with some of my favorite youtube crafters. Just wanted to say I love this video and your ideas. Thanks for the inspiration!
Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of stamp positioners on the market, at least not in the US, thanks to the woman who owns the Misti company. When other companies started making their own platforms, she sued them all because apparently she invented the hinge. Yes, that’s sarcasm. It’s unbelievable that she won her suits based on this ridiculous claim. Still, business is business and what’s legal doesn’t always correspond to common sense. What really angers me is how she went after TH-camrs who either made their own version or suggested tips to improve its function. None of them were trying to sell anything, they were only sharing their ideas. It could be argued that they were providing free advertising for her. Some companies have made attempts at platforms that don’t include hinges, with varying success. Since I refuse to support such greed and anti-American behavior (goodbye healthy competition and innovation), not to mention my refusal to pay $80 for any platform, I had planned to make my own, but I recently came across a miracle. *You can buy a new, full sized Tim Holtz platform from Amazon! It’s shipped from the UK. Yes, you have to pay for international shipping but even taking this into consideration, I payed only $5 more than what it sold for here in the US!* It was $26 and some change, plus $18 and change for shipping. I just received it yesterday and it is brand new, in original pristine packaging, and I received it in less than a week! It is better designed, better constructed, and made of better quality materials than the Misti, too! I love it so much!!!
I'm with you, Iris! I got the mini misti (ONLY $40--how ridiculous, but I was new at this) before all the suits. The legal hassles really made me angry. Plus, who needs preaching with their stamping tool? So I got the Tim Holtz and really love it because--no sides, costs less, much stronger lid!
I love that you talk fast. Sometimes I get impatient with videos that go too slow. Thanks.
OMG me too!!! I told my mom that I loved that you talked fast so my ADHD brain would stay engaged. Lol

Such a beautiful bunch of cards! You are so funny! Love the noodle story! 😂😂
Being a newbie to all this coolness, I love all your ideas! Thank you
I totally agree with you about the Misti. I couldn’t stamp at all before I bought one. I liked the mandala and third gen watercolor rose the most.
You’re just so much fun too watch and listen to!!! Never a boring moment!! Love all of your ideas because I need them! Thank You 💜💜
Amazing colors and designs. I have been avoiding gel plates but now I am very tempted.

Beautiful cards. I’m having a hard time with the spray & let run of colors, but your designs are amazing.
Does the bar magnet work through that mouse pad ?
Holy cow, that hello card using one-color shading is the bomb!
What a great tip of ‘buffing and shading” inked images.
Wow loving watching all these techniques. Love that Rizzo stamp too. I love my misty too!
Thanks so much!
Love these!!
Love the watercolor techniques with the stamp positioner- even just lightly spraying your dye ink gives a different look. As always, thank you!
You are so welcome!
Last one did not care for but love them
I so enjoy watching you make cards. And listening to your narrative! I’m always waiting for your next video. Thank you for making my day a little better.
Thank you so much! This made my day, truly!
I really love my Misti. It makes things alot better. Liked your cards:-)

Hi there. It's linked in the supply list for you which is in the description! It's bearly art.
I also wanted the name of the glue because I can't get to your link. Loads of people cannot connect on TH-cam links. You say Bearly Art?

Can you please supply a link for the Nuvo glitter pen you used. I can't find it. Thanks.
Ohhh, thanks. I missed that. It is added to the supply list (the last item listed)....
