Completely agree. I love T2, but man, that dark sci-fi/horror/noir feel of the first one was just never recaptured. Plus it was CRAZY low budget, which says so much about Cameron's ability to do a lot with a little.

I say this because even though it's obviously early 80's synth pop / new wave, the guitars and guitar solo have a certain, very subtle late 70's / early 80's southern rock tinge to them. In that sense it's fairly unique. Maybe I'm full of shit, but I've always heard it that way. Regardless, it's my favorite song from the soundtrack.

I was born in 1989 and i saw this movie on VHS on October 2000 and i start to fall in love of this movie at the age of 11.
