Mechagodzilla looks better than Godzilla
Kinda hard to mess up Super mecha G’s design but I agree
Dude I am in love with my mechagodzilla figure. I have been playing with him the most out of my super 7 figures even more than the thirsty for blood Godzilla.
Between this and burning Godzilla I definitely say that this is the better purchase.
If you care, I am testing a simple fix for the Super 7 Ultimate Mecha G, the rear cover plate with the spines, which falls out constantly. A small, slightly larger than an 1/8 piece of self adhesive medium grade Velcro (black), the softer piece on the back of the lower of the plate, the mating harder piece directly mounted on the back of the Mecha G body. Let it fully cure to properly stick. To attach the modified plate, start at the top, then slightly push up the whole plate, and attach the lower part onto the Velcro, hold in place to insure the Velcro has fully engaged, and you are done. When you want to apply flying pack back, remove to cover plate, and mount the flying pack back. Only tiny bit of the Velcro will show. The one I have, to modify the flying attachment, was to smooth out the very bottom of pack. By gently filing the bottom off any flash, and paint the bottom with light silver paint, and allow to fully dry. Cheap, simple, easy mod to do, almost no cost or extreme work. Not the most elegant way to fix things, but should make things better than having that stock plate just constantly falling off.
If you care, you can see pictures of the mods made to the figure, in the link of my picture host album provided before.
I don’t mind paper ties as they are good for enviorment
Who said anything about paper ties?
@@StevensToyReviews you said you hate ties
@@BobTheAwesomeBob no one said anything about paper ties
This along with Destroyah look....squished. Like the Garuda's cannons are too short and Destroyah's wings are way to small.
I'm only getting the Destoroyah, and Meltdown Godzilla to go as a set. I also have the Dark Horse inspired Super7, and that's probably all I'll be picking up from the line. They are way too expensive for how little detail, and articulation you get with them, and I never picked up an S.H. Destoroyah, so that's another good reason.
I'd be in on this product line if the mouths had articulation. I'm not a big parts swapping collector..
The hip joints still aren’t as bad as SHMA Hedorahs (I will never forgive that)
At least the shine on this one’s finish makes sense
Lol, Garuda went flying! I'm glad the shock anchors aren't bendy wires, that would've driven me nuts. That peg assembly down at the legs do have me a bit worried, but based off what I saw here I wouldn't mind picking this up.
I feel Super 7 should stick with retro Godzilla toys. The Shogun Godzilla line is just awesome and that's were they stand out.
Kyle reacted with check marks on the STR Discord to two comments saying that vacmetal would not be coming to Toho Ultimates, so I would not expect anything like that in this line. BUT...the precedent is certainly there and recent.
Twas a point being made, who knows what they have coming. :/
Looks good, but I am still going to get the new SHMA bundle as it has in my opinion enough in it to justify the price
Yeah, I'ma get that too
Kinda cool, but seeing how I don't have a SHM Rodan, I think I will wait for the new Decisive Battle Set
I truly big fan of mecha Kaiju like this one. However, i still loyalty to Godzilla, no matter what 😊.
Surprise! I contacted Super 7 directly about my 2 wave 2 figures, complete with pictures and a detailed write up, stating my evidence both good and bad. They asked me more questions. Maybe there is hope for better products, and improved customer service.
Huh looks better than I thought it would, still the joints scare me
Who makes the articulation on the whole sh monsterarts line
As usual overpriced, joints are concerning. For the life of me I just don't get them not doing jaw articulation, I think it's honestly just lazy. Mind you I don't mind an alternate head sculpt for say battledamage or something. As with the rest I think I'll wait for hiya and skip super 7.
This looks GREAT…and for the price point, you get EVERYTHING associated with the character. Tamashii would not ever give you Garuda and shock anchors along with thruster effects at the price which they would even just sell the figure. This figure also is bigger than the SHMA version. I CAN NOT WAIT until they do Mothra and Battra from Battle for Earth film. 🎉🎉🎉 I wonder if they will do the Monsterverse versions as well. 😮
I love your videos 👍
You know, my biggest gripe about these newer entries to the articulated Godzilla figures is their refusal to work in the 6” scale. It doesn’t fit with the rest of my collection so I don’t really have a lot of incentive to add these newer entries. I’m getting the Hiya Godzilla almost solely because it is a better relative scale for the SHMA Shin.
Also you missed a perfect opportunity for a Naruto run joke.
Im gonna eat your wallet
Super7 seems way, WAY more concerned about the fancy packaging than they are about the actual quality of the figures themselves. Pathetic. So glad I didn't waste my money backing this thing, and I will never back any Super7 pre-orders ever again.
Where is hiya thermo review :(
There's no thermo godzilla.
Another reviewer heated the joints with a blow dryer to loosen it
Yes... That's what ya do lol
This looks like the Cgi model from the pipeworks games….not a good thing imo. Plus 90 dollars for a figure that doesn’t have jaw articulation is no bueno
Do a review on the pictures for the mcfarlane Pacific rim figures
I'm subscribed love your Pacific rim and Godzilla videos
I can agree that for the money that your paying for these figures it doesn’t seem that worth it, me personally I would rather give my money to hiya because I know I won’t be let down but hey the figure looks pretty cool. Hey Steve when is that Hiya Burning Godzilla Review coming out?
It's coming. Almost like poetry we have another BG here now, huh?
@@StevensToyReviews Yeah, what a world to be living in as a Godzilla fan
Super 7 is 10 times better than hiya
