In the video you suggest that Fabuland sets featured clothing brands and tv shows. However it was the other way around. Lego licenced Fabuland to other companies so they could create things like Vinyl Records, a uk stop motion television show, T-shirts, ect. Based on Fabuland. Fabuland sets did not feature any brands or intellectual property not owned by the LEGO group. The first sets to feature licenced brands were released all the way back in the 1950s. All LEGO cars of this era were volkswagen cars. Lego also followed this up with Esso gas stations (aka ExxonMobil) and then Shell gas stations.
I loved the video and I saw Animal crossing as a spiritual successor relaunch of my favorite theme Fabuland! Much of their similarities are a coinidence but I think that the animal crossing sets seek to embody the same sort of feeling and play style as fabuland. Idk. the moment I saw the door piece on the Isabelle's Visit set I thought of how I could use it in fabuland mocs
Well you see back then the fabuland sets had pieces that the lego animal crossing sets don't have and lego animal crossing is the 2nd lego nintendo game theme that was released after lego supermario
Animal Crossing has nothing to do with Fabuland. The builds in the Animal Crossing theme match the videogames. It's only a coincidence that there are some commonalities because both use animals.
Animal crossing is a brand/franchise owned by Nintendo Nintendo recently teamed up with Lego and made these sets No animal crossing is not a new version of fabuland, its it’s own theme
I don't think so. Why would a *Japanese* Nintendo game copy some *Danish* series? Also, Animal Crossing has been in the works since the Nintendo 64 days and is one of Nintendo biggest series to come out (other than Zelda and Mario)
We call this "nostalgia". The thing that companies use to sell things at higher prices. There is a good South Park episode that shows this problem. Also 2000's kids in 2050 will say the same things you say now.

no. they just like making licensed themes.
omg fabuland !!!! I adored these
Funny thing is a lot of Fabuland colors were exclusive to Fabuland, like lime green and Fabuland brown.
I think they both look very suspiciously similar to... bears. Cool vid thou! I didn't know that line even existed.
Animal crossing always remined of Fabuland itself
Yes
Cool Video!👍
Glad you enjoyed it!

I got the Fabuland ferris wheel set when I was a kid.

thank you, ivebeen saying this a long time

No animal crossing is not a new version of fabuland, its it’s own theme
The set of fabuland you have here reminds me of the set 77049 from animal crossing.
The story in the Fabuland instructions could have been in Danish, since Lego itself is a danish company.
True
No.
The story/comics in the fabuland is not German it's an demaerk language
Oh okay, thanks for letting me know!
Any time buddy
The text is indeed German. Wouldn’t go so far to call it weird though.
I am a big fan of animal crossing, but I wish they just made zelda
Apparently they're working on it, so we might see them soon!
:0
No it’s from a game called animal crossing on Nintendo switch
Yeah I know, I mention that in the video
Do the heads not come off?
I think now animal crossing is a fake knock off of fabuland
I don't think so. Why would a *Japanese* Nintendo game copy some *Danish* series? Also, Animal Crossing has been in the works since the Nintendo 64 days and is one of Nintendo biggest series to come out (other than Zelda and Mario)
I love your vid, thanks for doing them,I wanted to give you 5$ but i cant,my tablet is to old, sorry.❤
You're good, it's the thought that counts. Thank you!
Nope
Fabuland lore 🤯?
Do people know what animal crossing is💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
As a child of the 70’s we didn’t need brick call outs, kids today are weak! 😜
