Here is another one of those older locos. I’m glad you told me about how these might be suitable for certain lines. I don’t know much about these things so thanks for putting me on the right track.😀
At 1:36 shows where a few mates and I camped in a tent the night before the triple headed run during Austeam in 1988. Tent was in between the BG and SG lines including parked car. *Somehow* don't think we'll be doing that any more...
G'day, thanks for the ride up the line, can you tell me what the boxes with numbers in them mean? And the line on the far left is that the standard line from Sydney?, Thanks for the video, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
The white boxes with a number that flash up are kilometres from Melbourne. The line on the left is the standard gauge from Sydney. Glad you enjoyed it 👍 😊
I remember the telegraph poles beside the Geelong line,Brown Falcons used them to build their nests on, and also the Tallarook-Mansfield rail trail, there are still scattered telegraph poles along the trail, remnants from that line
Superb !
Very happy you enjoyed the ride 👍 😀

When will the seymour line get rid of sprinters? There so old lol
Lol, there are no plans to retire them yet. 😀👍
Sprinters are used on the stoney point line, just wanted you to know!
Hmmm, Stony point is on my list to do. 👍😀
@@driver667 Would like to see Empty Car refuel from Frankston to SSS yard ( wherever that might be) & return, then onto Stoney.... :)
@@BlackCat-fr4ue Stony Point is on the list 👍😊
Not much fare revenue from that trip.
Not a great deal of people around for that trip 👍😊
How long do you think the old telegraph posts will stay along this line and the Serviceton line? Any word if they will be pulled out like other lines?
I think they will be there for quite a while yet. It will cost money to remove them. 👍😀

@@gregthompson3274 Telegraph poles do fit in to the total picture of a railway line and the local wildlife finds good use of them 👍 😀😀
