Are parlays bad even when when u only add value bets to it? I have seen a lot of websites that say that u should always avoid parlays because u are giving away value, but I don't know if that also applies to value bets.
Hey Ramon, no that does not apply to value bets. I highly recommend placing accumulators using value bets as you're actually multiplying your edge over the bookie. But you are also increasing the odds, which will create more variance in your results if you can handle that.
Hey man, I have a question. Is it better to place value bets that are closer to the CLV or it doesn't matter at all? I have seen sometimes that it appears in different softwares that the "value disappeared", so... how much does it really affect in good and bad ways betting on events that will occur in 2 days or more?
Hey Ramon, the closer you can take a value bet to kick off the better, because then there is less time for the trade to move out of your favour as there less time for new information to enter the market. But betting 2 days before a game is also fine, you just want to make sure the edge is a little bit bigger to account for new information that could enter the market. Hope that makes sense!
I was betting on football 1 year and had 11% Roi ( 10 months + and 2 months - ) and thought I that I'm very good. Then I started to bet on basketball and tennis and lost most of my earnings in 2 months. Betting is difficult...I play live games with small bets and relatively high odds, and never play with odds less than 1.80. I watch the games. My favorite teams for betting are Rangers and Burnley
In sports betting, most people who use their opinions are hugely unsuccessful. One of the proven ways to make money on sports betting is through value betting. If you're constantly getting an edge over the bookmaker over a large sum of trades, your chances of winning increases greatly.
I wish mate but we obviously don't work with them. Check out our video we made on Tony Bloom though, that's the best description we can give you in terms of their betting strategy.
I really enjoy listening to you guys speak. This is by far the best betting channel I have found. But as intelligent and and as successful as jonas is. I still think this is the wrong way to go. It no doubt works. But long term the vast majority of people would be better seeking out real value bets with a much bigger edge. Jonas is using big stakes and it looks like big returns. But I know of a few people who I’d imagine make a lot more money betting one or two live games per day. I’d also imagine they are less susceptible to bookies improving their efficiency going forward than the system Joanna’s uses which could be ended quite easily if/when the bookies ever change their assessment of odds
Great to hear you enjoy our channel mate but we have to respectfully disagree. With value betting, it's all about the long term as variance can play such a huge part in your results. As we've seen with our customers, the more trades you place, the better chance you are of making a profit. There is seriously no point in doing value betting for less than 100 trades as it goes against everything value betting stands for.
@@TrademateSports no worries, we wouldn’t learn anything if we all agreed on every point. I just think you miss the real value in bets with this approach. And as jonas probably knows. If one day the bookies become a few percent more efficient this method will not work. Good stuff though. I hope your channel gets the attention it deserves
