Brian Fallon's studio albums are great but when he does live acoustic version his music transcends to a spiritual level. Wish he'd get the attention he deserves, but maybe it's better that he is a "secret" his fans can share. I'm a jaded 70+ year old man but his music has brought tears to my eyes and shivers down my back. Turning this old man into a 17 year old kid again, if just for 4 minutes or so.
I thought I had a favorite version of this song (from the revival tour) but this is on a different level. How is everything this guy does so damn amazing?
I was standing next to this guy - sorry for talking, you should've said something - but, hats off to the audience. For the most part they were quiet and respectful during the songs and didn't ruin the vibe. Great show!
It truly pisses me off when Brian is playing to a small select audience and someone decides to spend these magical moments running their mouths and ruining it for everyone. As if their exploits of last night or their phone conversations are more important than the music others came to hear. I don't see how he can keep from screaming JUST SHUT UP at them.
To me, the best thing is when he gets up after the song he has this grin, sayin like "Yep. Yep. Nailed it that was awesome"
