When you was testing it was putting out any smoke ? Because my does and i dont know if this is a problem to get a new with the warranty because i also bought it those days do you think this is normal or maybe it is just because it is new and it hasn't worked much yet ?

@TechGuru Andrew : I have a little 'space/slack of my Chuck. when i put a 10mm drill in the machine,hold it in my hand and have soms force on the 10 mm drill there in space/slack..i do not know what is normal,do not have compare, or is it normall? machine works fine,no noice,smoke or wat..just the slack? sorry for my bad english..from holland :)
You got 2 optical sensors in front of your not so smart face right ? You can read ? Good then look for yourself, you got Lidl's in yankland so guess you can......you yanks....... pffffffffff
I bougt this one after using removable chuck, its cool but it has some play so wanted to have regular drill. Luckily for you all later models of this drill have removable chuck

Iv heard that the stronger you strike the battery inside the better drill works.

Replace it, no second thoughts. you have seen on my video I have drilled about 220 holes in 2 hours,no smoke for me.
@@TechGuruAndrew at start when drill or screw it puts out smoke at then it smells weird.
Replace it,It's faulty.

my dear, try drilling with a 10 mm drill in acacia wood, let's see if it still works as well!

Non removable chuck is a deal breaker.
I have the one with removablle chuck - It feels a bit wobbly when drilling.
