The difference in quality of the CGI head replacement is huge between the dog and baby. It was so well done with the dog.
Yeah but the baby skit was so much better.
I think the baby one was purposefully done that way...it makes it wayyy more creepi cause the head bobbles...and the Tommy poppin to lol🤣
There was no cgi here, just compositing
that's cause the dog's got a collar to hide the seam
This is an old post, but the difference is not technology, but setup. With the baby scene there was a lot more head movement and a lot more shadows. In fact, while the baby was up against Key, you could see the outline of the real babies head for a little bit. Then from there they just blurred it into a big blob shadow. With the dog, it was hardly any head movement, so that was easier, no shadows, except a small shadow when he was licking the other dog and the collar made a great seam/seperator from the head and body. Also, dont know if you noticed, but there is brown stuff on the females dog back leg where the man head is licking. It appears they put peanut butter there to get the real dog to lick that area and then inserted Peeles head over it. So dont think it was really a difference in quality, just the dog part was a better situation, not as hard as the baby.
Amazing how Key n Peele can transform into ANY character regardless of race or age or anything.... Awosome work

Nah it's just standard editing effects to make it look that way. It's better than most but not a real analog CCD camcorder.
@@kishascape Exactly, wrong. One of the filmmakers actually commented on the original video in the comment section and said they actually made that with the 80's recorder because it was slightly difficult to somewhat get that effect.
