Take. normal everyday thing, as you said, and kind of show the absurdity in things and take the joke they extract from it to its logical extreme, just as the other person said.

They remind me of the characters my sisters and I would create and play games as when we were younger lol. To their credit, they were the ones who usually had the ideas in the first place and we would always crack up laughing our asses off as we went through the days in these alternate lives. I also had a friend once when I was 18 who was also able to to that, but my sisters weren't there at the time but we still had so much fun walking around town rolepaying whatever outlandish characters we imagined. I remember him saying we could be famous and have our own show with these characters lol, not something I have ever wanted personally but you get the point. I wish I could remember or even go back and be a fly on the wall and relive the hilarity we had in those lovely golden days.
I love how they rigged on a 20+ year old news story of a “leprechaun” that lived in a tree in the ghetto that everyone claimed to have seen lol the story played out exactly as they recreated it 😂

These guys are one of the very few that, with all the praise they get, I actually agree with it all. I usually disagree, I love having a controversial opinion. But these guys are everything that you hear: just absolutely phenomenal with their mannerisms, characters, and timing. Not to mention the genius writing and directing, and absurd sketches that can be shocking, funny, and deep all in one. I’m so proud of these gentlemen, truly top tier in their craft, and nothing short of good men too, which is also a plus
