Installing 17T Turbos for 600HP (N54)

Hey guys i recently installed some 17t ViV 6x6 turbos onto my 2009 135i. I thought i would share with you guys my experience doing it. Im looking to make around 600 hp with these but i still need a few more supporting mods. This is going to be cut into a few videos because the video would be too long . Will be uploading part 2 soon

So glad you showed the testing of your turbos. I'm going to test mine tonight. I picked up an air pressure ((Brake bleeder like yours) tester so I can do this and check the Vacuum on my waste gate solenoids or whatever they're called. LOL. (The plastic units that run to the black reservoir canisters).

Heat wrap those inlets..the interior heat from turbos will melt them eventually. Get relocation inlets aluminum..when you get a chance.

17T 19T pure600 or DAW which should i get man i'm indecisive... i've done research and all it all falls back to Chinese housings etc

So you didn’t have to upgrade your LPFP??

Eventually you do if your going to be running more boost/ tune. But mainly if your going E85

@@menjicar what’s a good basic lpfp set up I figured just the basic 450 walbro but unsure tbh

@@F30caleb yeah the 450 is good for a e50 mix. Half 85 and half 91 gas. Once you start making maybe more that 550hp you might need more fuel. It all depends on your tune and if your running E or just gas

@@menjicar see I don’t plan on running e tbh I wanna stay 93 unless it’s like an actual run night but other than that I’d only wanna hit about 500-550 RELIABLY yk
