Looking at Rise as an example, Narwa and Ibushi were literally the logo. The logo for MH Wild has two serpents. I can only forecast Najarala and a few other snake wyverns being brought to 6th Gen fidelity
Ihope, but looking at the good ol' gen agmes they all have a snake-like wyvern acompanying their logo. 2 heads. It's just ripples with the classic wyverns.

I think we’ll be able to store a weapon on our mount and switch between two weapons out in the world. Last shot of the trailer, the mount has a bag containing some sort of bowgun
Something i noticed, the monsters that the hunter is running from in the beginning of the trailer use animations from Goss Harag which makes me believe they are large monsters. So seeing at the very least of three of them makes me think that we might get multiple of the same monster active on a single map

the new mount looks like a great evolution of the palamute from Rise. It looks like a creature adapted for harsher environments, so doesn't look out if place, and the fact that it can glide makes it more mobile. I also think it's a nice touch that it can go from bipedal for walking to quadruped for sprinting. It just works well with the dinosaur aesthetic. From looking at the chocobo looking mount at the end, I noticed that there’s a BOWGUN stashed on its side, meaning that you could probably have two weapons with you on a hunt to switch between from said chocobo. This makes sense if the map is huge, and fast travelling back to camp and then running back to change weapons would be too long (also its probably just fun). Also, there appears to be a sleeping bag thing ok the mount’s back, meaning that maybe you can set up little temporary camps? maybe there’s one or two major camps to fast travel to, but you can set up smaller ones to do things like switch to another weapon or grab on some extra items you brought. Whatever it is, this game is looking to be amazing.
something I've not seen mentioned is that the way the monsters move is very reminiscent of herding. it's doubtful, but I wonder if they're incorporating a way to use groups of small monsters in combat, ie herding a group towards a large monster

I would definitely say that a much BIGGER reason for this game being in 2025 is because they don't want it to compete and potentially kill the sails of the other MH type game they have coming out soon, Dragon's Dogma 2! A game that REALLY needs those sails.
Monster hunter with a weather system will be very interesting. Maybe that's the new gimmick? It looks a bit more open as well potentially. But god damn it's pretty. And bird lizard dog is good boi.
loving the weather effects. gonna make monster invasions more wild. imagine a storm rolling in and getting ambushed by a zinogre or something. hope the weapon designs are a step up from world's also, if the maps are huge enough i wonder if we'll have big monsters return like lao shan lung or giant enemy crab
Josh. Cotton. I can't wait to see you two play this when it launches! Wonder what new ones we'll see aside from what was shown. Wonder what those are all called. 2025 release time is quite a while away for a wait but seeing this, fucking worth it!
At the end of the herd scene, you can see some small raptors. I hope that their's bringing back the endemic life system that was in world and iceborne, where you can put them in your room.
My guess is the map will go through sort of seasons, we see the grass grow immediately after the sandstorm and I believe this is how we will get our different biomes, instead of multiple large maps maybe we will have one even larger map that over time will change what season/biome it is
Okay this is a lot to unpack, but here’s what I’m getting from this trailer: -potential open world game with herds of monsters that migrate to new environments -one single map, but it’s hard to tell since we see only see the wastelands. -monster taming and riding -environment changes. Potentially as a result of the season mechanic or a super powerful Elder dragon changing the surroundings. -removed large monster caps as those Baboon/buffalo things are definitely large monsters and there is more then just three -removed or enlarged map zones, allowing us and the monsters much more freedom in movement. -the mount looks like something from a jungle area so maybe another map or region of the open world. -maybe takes place in the new world’s north, beyond that big barrier of rock. It looks rather desolate and the only returning monster I’ve seen is rathalos so it is possible.
I'm really hyped that we're most likely are going to be having the largest sized maps as of yet! from the sheer amount of small monsters, to the fact that our mount is a gliding raptor, it truly is building off of what we got in World/Iceborne! Also I wonder, are we finally going to have more than 3 large monsters roaming at once on the map?
People are assuming it is a true fully open world with multiple biomes compared to the past two games world and rise having big biome maps. Which would be neat
Good to know I wasn’t the only one who was like “nah that ain’t monster hunter. Nah no not possible” Also the pangos spines aren’t inherently electric, they just seem to act like lightning rods
Something on the new mount monster has me curious. On its right flank it looks like it has a Light Bowgun strapped to it. Could this mount monster serve function as a "mobile tent" or at least allow you to change your equipment in the field without having to go back to camp?
I was a bit disappointed at first because of how different it looks but now I look at it closer and more times Im pretty keen, its really weird they didn't show any hunting though as they usually do
Monster Hunter Stories 3 confirmed! I'm only joking but the last Monster Hunter game gave us Stories 2 so I'm being hopeful we get MHS3 for the next Nintendo Console for 2025. (Let's see how well this comment ages.)
So here are my thoughts. 1.endemic life is back 2.there's a holstered weapon on the right side of the mount. Maybe new weapon for us or weapon for the mount to use. 3. Logo is a double headed serpent. Serpents confirmed 4.maybe dynamic weather that changes the zone. 5. Maybe monster stampedes? 6. Starting great sword design is actually good. 7. First few seconds of the video there's lightning striking that possibly highlights a serpent shadow causing this sandstorm
So the dragon in the logo is surrounded by 5 or so circles, and the vista we get to look at is centered on a massive circular stone structure thingy in the distance. Based off of typical open world formulas, I imagine this stone circle to be represented as 1 of the 5 in the logo, and that the 5 of them are either created by or used by whatever enormous dragon is in the center. Kinda lines up with other open worlds that send you to each corner of the map before letting you tackle the final boss, that’s my early guess
I watched a streamers reaction to the game show and they said oh this is probably monster hunter when this started and I though there is no way this was monster hunter then it happened
Given what we have seen, we might have a broad map (still with the base system with a loading zone) with all the biomes connected into one giant map (again bases separate). Also you all know I’m gonna preorder this on steam when it’s available.
This absolutely SCREAMS GOTY potential - it looks fabulous, I can't wait to hear more and I don't mind them releasing it in 2025. It's an ambitious project, give your crew enough time to make it right. 💜
@@blazing-wolf2331Hey, Competition doesn't anybody. Especially since they are two different markets in gaming so they won't overlap. Most likely why they are launching MHWD in 2025 bc they would be competing with DD2
I can’t even say how happy I am about that wyvern mount, the Palamutes were cute and all but I’ve wanted some kind of monster-taming system since I first played Tri. It feels like such a natural progression for a series like this where the monsters are part of the world’s ecology
I think that storm might be the cause of an elder dragon. Maybe even the one in the logo. This game feels like a culmination of the development team's dreams of a living breathing creature and monster filled world.

I think for me the biggest and most exciting thing when I saw the trailer was the sheer amount of monsters on screen, there are probably more monsters in the one section of the area in Wilds than on the entire map of any previous Monster Hunter game. All could think was "man they're really making use of that hardware they got on hand."
While I'm sadge boi that it looks like palamutes aren't coming back, the new mount looks amazing, and it looks like the devs are working on once again blowing our socks off! The team is so talented, I can never predict what they're planning.
That mount looks to be carrying a good amount of supplies. What if it’s a fully open world mh game where you travel around the wilds setting up your camp when you need to eat a meal, restock your inventory, and set a new quest, and you have to find settlements where you can have new weapons and armor forged and all those normal home base activities. Just ideas of course but that sounds like a new direction they could take the series that would make full use of next gen technology
I am very excited about the mount. if we get a permanent, maybe customisable mount that we can recall at any time, it would be amazing. Especially in this game, that from the name sounds a lot like an open world. It also looks stunning.
Is this a great sword or a long sword? The tiny little monsters running at 1:30-1:31 near your mounts feet... are those Jaggi? They look like mini jaggi. Jeez, this is so fucking cool. Damn having to wait a year, but at the same time, a year for it to get even better? Woo!

mhw ecology is not even a question anymore but man i hope they learned from rise weapon designs
@@evermythic9480 the designs from Rise are amazing - if that is what you meant, I got a bit confused about your comment
@@LucasTheBoi yeye mb i worded it bad, i was trying to point out that rise weapons were awesome
those lion-bear things kinda look like goss harag a bit looking at thier faces and the way they swipe at other stuff
Josh. Cotton. I can't wait to see you two play this when it launches! Wonder what new ones we'll see aside from what was shown. Wonder what those are all called. 2025 release time is quite a while away for a wait but seeing this, fucking worth it!
I’m just hopping they keep the switch skills from sunbreak. As long as they do that the game will be perfect to me
At the end of the herd scene, you can see some small raptors. I hope that their's bringing back the endemic life system that was in world and iceborne, where you can put them in your room.
In the beginning you see some type of birds riding on the pangolins back looking monster. So endemic life system comes back.
The open world aspect actually makes me a little aprehensive. Overall excited to see more, and the MH hasn't let me down yet.
Makes me wonder how end of game fatalis and deviljho if we have them for the title updates will act
Hey, idk if you will see this but, can confirm that the "Desert Bear" looking things are a new Version of GROSS HARAG
At first I thought it was dragons dogma, but then I seen the almighty greatsword and was like OMG IS IT MONSTER HUNTER
Its a good day to be a monster hunter cause from we got from the trailer itself is amazing. It'll be worth the waiting
I love how there’s literally a 6 in the logo so people don’t get confused 😂
I hope they bring back the endemic life capture net. I loved trying to catch the rare one's.
This game has only been just announced, but the adorable raptor-hawk mount is already the goodest boy and I would kill or die for him!!!
I KNOW RIGHT❤❤❤
Those creatures look like Goss Harag variations
The logo reminds me of kukukaln with all the storms happening and drastically shifting environments
A huge snake bird does sound cool
the lion bear things sort of remind me of goss harag
I'm so G-damn excited it hurts my heart!
My guess is the map will go through sort of seasons, we see the grass grow immediately after the sandstorm and I believe this is how we will get our different biomes, instead of multiple large maps maybe we will have one even larger map that over time will change what season/biome it is
Okay this is a lot to unpack, but here’s what I’m getting from this trailer:
-potential open world game with herds of monsters that migrate to new environments
-one single map, but it’s hard to tell since we see only see the wastelands.
-monster taming and riding
-environment changes. Potentially as a result of the season mechanic or a super powerful Elder dragon changing the surroundings.
-removed large monster caps as those Baboon/buffalo things are definitely large monsters and there is more then just three
-removed or enlarged map zones, allowing us and the monsters much more freedom in movement.
-the mount looks like something from a jungle area so maybe another map or region of the open world.
-maybe takes place in the new world’s north, beyond that big barrier of rock. It looks rather desolate and the only returning monster I’ve seen is rathalos so it is possible.
Watched it live, I was freaking the fuck out the whole time lmao
I'm really hyped that we're most likely are going to be having the largest sized maps as of yet! from the sheer amount of small monsters, to the fact that our mount is a gliding raptor, it truly is building off of what we got in World/Iceborne!
Also I wonder, are we finally going to have more than 3 large monsters roaming at once on the map?
People are assuming it is a true fully open world with multiple biomes compared to the past two games world and rise having big biome maps. Which would be neat
Good to know I wasn’t the only one who was like “nah that ain’t monster hunter. Nah no not possible”
Also the pangos spines aren’t inherently electric, they just seem to act like lightning rods
If souls could go from linear story to open world as well as it did, then monster hunter can do it it too
Super excited for this
Something on the new mount monster has me curious.
On its right flank it looks like it has a Light Bowgun strapped to it.
Could this mount monster serve function as a "mobile tent" or at least allow you to change your equipment in the field without having to go back to camp?
I was a bit disappointed at first because of how different it looks but now I look at it closer and more times Im pretty keen, its really weird they didn't show any hunting though as they usually do
They didn't show any Hunting in the first trailer for Rise too.
Wait till March anniversary event, they will show more of the game during that event.
@@lubbo5261 Yeah they did
This is the most hyped I been since Sunbreak
Looks like I'm getting back into monster hunting!
1.endemic life is back
2.there's a holstered weapon on the right side of the mount. Maybe new weapon for us or weapon for the mount to use.
3. Logo is a double headed serpent. Serpents confirmed
4.maybe dynamic weather that changes the zone.
5. Maybe monster stampedes?
6. Starting great sword design is actually good.
7. First few seconds of the video there's lightning striking that possibly highlights a serpent shadow causing this sandstorm
The most important thing that I REALLY REALLY hope it has is cross play between all platforms! I don't expect a cross save though.
Would be game changing
It's very likely these days.
NEW MONSTER HUNTER PRO AND NOOD COMING AND I CAN'T WAIT 2025 🎉🎉❤❤
My thoughts while watching the trailer was something like “is that monster hunter? No it’s not monster hunter. Holy sh*t it’s monster hunter!!!!!
Oh thank god guys, Rathalos is gonna be in the game!
2025 GTA 6 and MH Wilds what a amazing year to come
I watched a streamers reaction to the game show and they said oh this is probably monster hunter when this started and I though there is no way this was monster hunter then it happened
I’m over the moon with this game, 2025 is gonna be a wonderful year
Given what we have seen, we might have a broad map (still with the base system with a loading zone) with all the biomes connected into one giant map (again bases separate). Also you all know I’m gonna preorder this on steam when it’s available.
I’m gonna miss the Palamute, but riding a chocobo that can glide is gonna be a lot of fun! I can’t wait to see what’s in store with this game!
This absolutely SCREAMS GOTY potential - it looks fabulous, I can't wait to hear more and I don't mind them releasing it in 2025. It's an ambitious project, give your crew enough time to make it right. 💜
It does, but it will be going up against GTA 6, which will be the biggest gaming launches in gaming history
Me planning on spending money on christmas: TGA: lol nah. But I’m just gonna be saving money so i can get a PC if it doesnt come out on S or X because i am not missing this for the world.
Until we get an official name for the new bird mounts, I think we should call them Palakeets.
I'm a bit sad we are not getting Palamutes, but the new ride monster looks dope AF. Also, all the small monsters they showed are brand new. Rhenoplos-looking monster but with horns, the armadillo-looking monster, and the Goss Harag/Arzuros monster. I wonder if they are making a reboot like MH game. Of course, they have to include Rathalos.
guys you can see the mount has another weapon which means we will be able to switch them mid hunt

What are your thoughts on monsters you think could make a return?
Im gonna cry 😭 i am so happy it won the game awards this year
This looks absolutely incredible. Can't wait to see how the tracking part works and how some of the weapons work.
Absolutely mindblown by how amazing and different it looks than what we are used to. Can't wait!
I am very excited about the mount. if we get a permanent, maybe customisable mount that we can recall at any time, it would be amazing. Especially in this game, that from the name sounds a lot like an open world. It also looks stunning.
imma fill 2024 with the Monster Hunter board game.
Big open areas hmmm??? could be fitting for a certain gigantic mammoth monster👀👀
Yes. Bring it back.
Woo!
Words do not describe my pure excitement at the sudden realization that I was watching a Monster Hunter 6 trailer ♥ I didn't think I could be as shocked and excited as I was back when MHW first got surprise announced but god DAYUM i am hyped. I literally cried.
This looks fantastic, though I do hope we get something to fill the gap. I’d love to get a MH stories 3
I saw the greatsword and immediately knew lol. I am so beyond excited. Finally!
I hope the mount is like the palamute and can customize them to add some fancy color to em
