I laugh out loud every time. So bad that you almost cringe yourself to death after them. My daughter has rolled her eyes many a time because I can't resist retelling them! Reference to the Yuma and its inherent decay... perhaps send it away for anodising? Powder coated metals will last longer and give it a lovely matt finish. I have been watching your videos for some time now and this is the first time I have commented... keep up the good work, Mr. H. P.s I loved your shelving unit that you keep your brushes on so much that I bought it from Amazon a few years back. Mine has a Hendricks tea set on it though. P.p.s I have 10 safety razors, 2 straight razors and a dozen brushes... entirely your fault.
Great shave today with the Yuma Razor, which is new to me. I looked it up and its still available from Turkey via EBay for 10$ USD so not a very pricey Razor. Thanks for Sharing!

I agree you don’t have to spend a lot of money my daily shave cost me approximately 10p for the products ie soap, blade, toner, aftershave and post shave and that’s using good quality products. Hey Paul thank you for the great shave with some nice products, and of course Mrs H the flowers are lovely as usual. That song is my wife's favourite. My SOTD was Edwin Jagger DE89 as always with a 700 yellow sharp blade. I lathered up some Stirlings Scotspine Shaving Soapswith my PAA Aomic Rocket Brush and finished off with Thayers Lemon Scented Witch Hazel then Nivea Body Shave After Balm and got a BBS although that blade seemed very rough and aggressive. Hey Paul, if you lay the razor in white vinegar, baking soda, and warm water mix for about 2 hours, you can brush away those persistent stains and get it back to mint condition. Cheers!

SOTD: vintage german 1930s' Sonnal razor,Ladas blade (4th and final use),vintage czechoslovakian 'Triumph' boar brush,Wilkinson blue shaving stick,bebe mild micelle water,Wilkinson classic aftershave. This vintage 'Sonnal' razor looks pretty similar to Paul's "Yuma",it's the same type of shape but my Sonnal has two different comb designs on each side,one more aggressive and the other more milder. That's not bad,you can do the first pass with the rougher side and the others with the smoother one...

Martin de Candre Rose shaving soap lathered with a That Darn Rob 26 mm Gel-tip badger brush. 3 passes plus pick-ups. Finished with Thayer's Rose scented skin toner and Soap Commander Love balm. BBS+ results. I smell like a walk through an English Rose garden. I looked at that Wilkinson Sword Quad 4 razor. Apparently, it is a propriety shave system that use unique clip-in blades...not a double DE razor system. I am sure it shaves well, but my opinion is Edgewell wants to make cartridge like margins off the blades. Pity. Sir, your shave and jokes are enjoyable indeed. Thank you for sharing. My SOTD (for tomorrow) will be: Gillette Heritage. Gillette Platinum blade (1st use). Yaqi Mysterious Space tuxedo brush. Stirling Soap Haverford. Post shave will be the left over soap applied to my face and left while I wash my shaving gear. I done this the other day with another Stirling Soap that I have, and my face looked and felt like I had applied a balm. Excellent post shave feel I've experienced with the Stirling Soap, they are definitely at the top of my list (along with Wickham) for performance and post shave feel.
Those Yuma razors were available in the US, on Ebay, and I ordered one several years after I first saw you use one. I still quite like mine. I don't fancy those blades, but I have some Original Nivea Men shaving cream, which I used again recently. It had been some time since I had used that. Cheers!

My SOTD was a muhle Rocca R94 (you really should try one excellent razor) persona chrome platinum blade, Ingram menthol shave cream, Old Spice Aftershave and Lea aftershave balm. Beautiful sunflowers by MrsH so colourful all the best.
Wonderful demonstration of how a great shave can be done on the cheap! I've had the opportunity to try some really cheap creams recently, and to be honest I've had no complaints...other than Supermax which was just weird!😁

Have you tried the Nivea Sensitive shaving cream? It's available on ebay, made in Greece. For some reason it's not available in Nivea's home country Germany.

Nivea shaving cream currently is not quite the same as yours, Nivea cream in tin smells nothing like shaving cream. I don’t think it’s available in the UK. You can find it in Spain or Germany with no trouble finding it.
Paul I have just received 96 Derby Shaving Soap sticks and 58 Palmolive shave stick soaps from a friend who has closed his barber shop down, will it be ok in 40 years time or will these shave sticks go rancid and is derby got a better smell than Arko and does it perform better than Arko.
The soaps I have which are 40 odd years old, work great for me, but they would have to be checked at the time of use of course. Arko and Derby work exactly the same for me, but Derby has a nicer scent to it. Both good perfroming soaps.
Nice shave Paul, I will have to have a look for that nivea shaving cream got a good lather and by the sounds of it a nice smell I used to love the smell of the original sheild the one they sell now rubbish oh I see you have not fixed the handle on the vase lol bugger me your lucky my wife would of cornered me every day till I fixed it lol take care and have a great weekend 😀

Although many in the US say Adidas like you did in the first pronunciation, the second one is actually correct. Adidas is a mix of the name Adolf (Adi) Dassler. I think it was a split between him and his brother as to why there is a Puma brand. Don't know if I would want the first name either. LOL
I was in Serbia on Holiday and i went to an outside flee market and saw a few YUMA's it cost 1Yuma=100 Dinars that's about 13 Yuma saftey razor for 10£!

I use a really old pottery dish which is nearly as smooth as BBS! Great lather which makes me wonder about all that grooves and dimples stuff😂

Yuma is super cheap in Turkey but it still does a great job.

I would try some Brasso on the Yuma.
Or Autosol too could work, however both would only give a temporary lustre as the plating seems to have come off the base metal (looks like zinc).
