  • Try to change some of the personal pronomen! Jeg, du, han, hun, det, vi, oss, dere, (I, you, he, she, it, we, us, you). That gives you more to practise on! :)
AND YES: All the H's in the questionwords are silent!
Who HvemWho are you? Hvem er du?
What Hva What is the time? Hva er klokka?
Where Hvor Where do you live? Hvor bor du?
Why HvorforWhy did he do that? Hvorfor gjorde han det?
How Hvordan How is she doing? Hvordan går det med henne?
When Når When do they get home? Når kommer de hjem?
    HVILKEN -
    Which - Hvilken, hvilket, hvilke
Masculine: Which kake do you want? Hvilken kake vil du ha?
Neuter: Which house do they live in? Hvilket hus bor de i?
Plural: What socks is he wearing? Hvilke sokker har han på seg?
How much Hvor myeHow much did you spend? Hvor mye brukte du?
How many Hvor mange How many hours did it take? Hvor mange timer tok det?
How long Hvor lenge How long have they been gone? Hvor lenge har de vært borte?
What kind of Hva slags What kind of soda do you want? Hva slags brus vil du ha? Hey all Norwegian learners!
The language I'm teaching is not Bokmål nor Nynorsk. It's an east dialect and I don't think you will have much problem with bokmål after this. :) And everyone will understand this.
I am Norwegian, from Norway. Born and raised. I live in Oslo, with my husband and son.

"Når kommer du hjem" - from song in Disney+ Loki Ep 3. And that song is the reason I'm learning this language. Expecially I like how "ø" looks in the Norwegian language. Thank you)

When I listened the word "hva" I listened / vå /. Is it right? The sound of of A and Å is not too clear to me. Could you say the difference?

The word “tuss” actually means gnome or goblin in popular beliefs/superstition. In Norse mythology the word “tuss” means troll. I do not how to write this using linguistic terminology, but when you add “en” at the end of the word, like in “tussen”, you are writing the gnome or the goblin or the troll.

Steinkjer has a very diffrent dialect yes! Give it time, or ask people to talk slower or more bokmål. Everyone knows bokmål!

The word “når” is pronounced exactly the same way as “nor” in Norge, but unfortunately for people learning Norwegian this is not a general rule. For example this does not apply to “nor” as in “nord” which means north. This is actually rather funny because the “o” in the English word north has the same sound as the Norwegian letter “å”.
