Dennis, great way to treat your daughter. That smile on her face says it all. I gave my 68 SS Camaro to my oldest daughter in 1994. She still has it to this day.

I had the privilege of meeting with your dad at the Wiley shop for 81 cj5 parts. And I met you at the same place several years later. A father's son is always a father's son. The only other one that measures up (and this is just MY opinion only) is when Dennis (and, ahem.....Kelsey) went and bought a silver Ferrari 330 GT. It was my first introduction to Kelsey. Dad was giving her QUITE an education on buying older classic cars....grooming her to someday take over the business, I hope.

Awesome video. It was great seeing inside of where and how these cars are built. Hope to see some videos of Kelsey racing this beast! Also, never a disappointment with where you all head to eat. That looked like a great way to wrap up and awesome day of touring the plant and taking delivery of this sweet car.

For the record, these cars run around $130,000.00 . Then, if you want them to run, esp. NHRA, you'll spend at least another $50,000.00. To run Factory Showdown you'll spend $250,000.00. All to race for $5,000.

@@leardi58 the guys like Barton, Bell, Stanfield, Skinner in the Cobra Jet, Leah in the Drag Park, they all have spent north of $400,000 grand to get these things to run. And they RUN. Mid 7's at 185 mph. Completely new sub frame and cage, remember the builder said cage rated to 8.50.

I can't imagine having a daughter like her that has the same passion for cars as her dad Dennis has . Kelsey is awesome and beautiful also. Her automotive knowledge is is impressive to say the least. Collecting automobiles is cool but knowing what you collect and why you collect them and what's rare and why makes her a true automotive conisuer. You go girl, oh and you go too Mr Collins. You really raised and taught her well. Dennis's passion will live on when we lose him, I truly hope he lives a really long happy and healthy life.

Man when you have the correct amount of craftsman’s that know what they’re doin, and a assembly line, they’re pumping those cars out faster than you think. As long as the line is running smooth as a sewing machine production stays on par. 💪🏼

Sorry, not impressed. Nice looking drag car but that's all it is. You can buy all the same parts and drive train components straight from the factory and be able to actually use the car on the road instead of just being a trailer queen drag strip only car. It should be designated as something more like a FDC (factory drag car) or SODO (special order drag only) or like Dennis said SCRC (show car race car) and save the COPO designation for cars that can be used on the streets like the originals. COPO name doesn't hold the same meaning anymore.
