Thank you for the video. I agree it is addictive! Instead of scrapbook paper, I used marine vinyl to give it more of a leather look and feel. So much cheaper than a midori and means so much more to me. Blessings :)
Thank you for sharing your idea. I absolutely love it and can't wait to try make one. I've been looking for a DYI travel journal and your journal is perfect. ❤❤
Your tutorial is very good! Very concise and well demonstrated! They look fantastic!! Great idea to use foam. That makes it so doable and affordable for me. Greta gift ideas. Tfs
Some use it as a planner. Others as a journal. And also for memory keeping. I am pretty sure other uses too 😉. Have fun making one and thank you for watching .
Hi Amy, check out my wallet tutorial and that one has a total of 4 bands. You punch 3 holes and loop around the elastic cord. th-cam.com/video/yGEYzo8xQbw/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps! Happy creating!
Wow! Thank you! Your tutorial is not so expensive (but looks like that), and much easier than a lot of midori-travels-tutorials ) Rly, thank you, i'm so happy :D
Where did you buy the elastic and foam sheets? Love the rainbow color and you are by far the best in showing this tn tutorial, thank you for sharing ❤️
Thank you so much. I bought that colored elastic at Michaels craft store. The foam sheets are available at any craft store like Joanns, Hobby Lobby, Michaels and probably Walmart too. The foam sheet I used is 2mm. Happy crafting!
Thank you for this video! I was hoping to put pattern paper on the inside of the traveler's notebook as well. Do you think this would work if I mod podged it like the front cover?
it should work. My only side note is that it might strain more on the inside with the creases and wear. My wallet has done that but I still love the look :) . Thanks for watching!
Oh wow that's awesome doing it with the foam. Can you please do a wide B6 with three wholes an the foam and paper an mod podge id really like to do it with your tutorial and printable template to go along side it please and thank you so much in advance.
I loved your video and started my notebooks last night. I got to the corner rounding and my foam wouldn't fit into the corner rounder. What kind do you have, or do you know what brand would work? TIA
Thank you for watching. My corner round punch is from creative memories. I bought many years ago. I know Fiskars carries thick punches (not sure if they have corner round) . This is the one I have. It seems available in Amazon - www.amazon.com/Creative-Memories-Corner-Rounder-Scrapbook/dp/B00DO74QC4/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=creative+memories+round+corner&qid=1562093255&s=gateway&sr=8-5
These were from Michaels. They normally have them in the dollar section bins or you can also purchase the 3 pack (Recollections brand) . Thank you for watching.
This is a great video! Where did you get the thick elastic cord you used? I've been making a few traveler's notebooks and I'm having trouble finding that thick cord that works so well with these.
What are the measurements for the tiny travelers notebook also what type of elescltic cord do you buy finally th ar you for the tutorial it was very easy to understand will totally be trying it out
the elastic is buy the jewelry section where they have the tassels and cording. At least here is grouped by those items. The pocket size tn I have a template for it. Sizes vary a bit from one person to the other.. but here is what I use. drive.google.com/open?id=1zWyKfIz2gDnSB7vaIlOK0KkDkvHYThVV

Does the surface coated with ModPodge stay slightly sticky at all??? This has happened to me before...?
I don't feel it sticky. I wouldn't put any inkjet or laser prints on it. The ink may stick on. I have had that happen to me with even sheet protectors. I think with good care it should last you a long time. Thank you for asking!
I liked the intro music

Great video. Thanks. But... lose the music in the background.
3:16-3:21 I DIDN'T understand the point of coating the cardstock w/ mod podge. Please, help me understand! 💃👌
Hi there, the mod podge is used to protect the paper from repeated use. This is an alternative version to laminating your outer cover.
What's the measurements on the mini planner ?
Thank you for watching. For the mini you can use these measurements here: th-cam.com/video/yGEYzo8xQbw/w-d-xo.html
