Air bail ? They’ve actually made a reel or reels where you have to manually close the bail ? Is this a new thing ? I bought a daiwa reel and noticed it doesn’t close when the Handle is turned, must be an air bail as well ? #44 lbs of drag, that’s a winch not, a reel. Air bail though ? Had no idea that this was a thing now, now I know. Thanks for sharing this information, Finally can use the reel on a pole , Thought there was a malfunction in it, and that’s why the bail wouldn’t close. Cleared that up.
In Australia 20k spin reels are almost exclusively used for game fishing tuna and marlin and if you hook up to a big 100kg+ bluefin it's going to make that 44lbs of drag scream
Yea it's not really my brother has both, it has a better bail arm wire, a nice power knob, and a carbon rotor which in my opinion is the most significant upgrade the reel has over the bg
J&h tackle for your opinion what spinning is more strong dawia mq 20 k or Shimano saragosa 20k , I want buy good spinning for jig bluefin tuna in new Jersey.
Bout time, I’m tired of buying from daiwa Australia to get upgraded tackle, I almost quit buying Daiwa just because of how bad they neglect the US market. They need to bring the demon blood and Spartan series rods to the US market.
Thanks J&H tackle for showing actual reel sizes and reel specs for years and years.
That reel looks sick🔥
👍
Love the colors of that reel. You’ll be able to put some serious heat on the fish with 44 pounds of drag. Keep it going with the reel reviews. 👊🏼👊🏼
Yeah the one feeling heat is probably going to be the angler. I don't even think the average person can hold 20lb
I just bought two of these size 6000 reels with two Saltist Hyper 20-40 lb rods. Can’t wait to get em wet 👍🏻🇦🇺🍺🍺🍺🍺🎣🛥💨
The color combo is 🔥
Beautiful reel, looks super smooth, and nice to have the knob
Beautiful reel. I wanted to buy the previous Saltist but was a little hesitant with the cast zinc main gear. I bought the BG and love it.
Beautiful, beautiful reel. Love it.
That is a sick daiwa spinning reel
I have been wanting a "black and blue" reel for a for a few years.
Cool!
Beautiful reel🤩
Wow great reel
Love the videos
@saltbloodfishing here checking in
Power handle 🔥
It's a beauty.
👍
Just bought today same 20000k. Thanks bro
Hi would you recommend a rod for a good balance ,does a grandwave Daiwa do the thing?
Looks great. I pre ordered a 6000 do you know when those are coming in?
Looks great
dang thats a nice deepwater reel
👍
Go Astros!
Huh?
@@jandhtackle Jose Siri hit a lead off home run about the same time I got the notification.
Josh, is there a handle material you don't like :)
Maybe a 6 or 8K for surf? If I owned that reel I’d take it everywhere I went!
Sweet reel

Cleared that up.

Wich proteus wn blue would you use for the 14000
Would love one
When it's coming to uk?
What popping rod would you pair this with?
Is it worth the upgrade from the BG MQ? As far as I can tell the only difference is magseal.
Yea it's not really my brother has both, it has a better bail arm wire, a nice power knob, and a carbon rotor which in my opinion is the most significant upgrade the reel has over the bg
BG has main gear from cast zinc, Saltist has machine cut aluminium main gear.
@@VertigoLures nope its still zinc, aluminum gears start at certate which is $500+

Is it better than twin power?
What are the drag washers made from ?
What size gloves you where?
XL usually.
What rod would we use for these size reels? Say the 18k to 20k.
Heavy set up rod for sure
St croix rift heavy 7 foot 8

Looks too nice to use.
Wow that's a beefy piece of gear, if I had a boat it would be on a rod right now for that price.
This or the Saragossa 20,000
They are very comparable.
Need 👍🏽
The zinc gear in this & the Ballistic is such a miss. The new Penn Slammer DX seems like the way to go in this price point.
Not a big deal on ballistic but heavy reals should come with brass at least
Wonder how people win these gift cards I never see a “ announcement or drawing” of any kind of someone winning…. Bait for comments ?
