Hmmmm u may have just saved me some headaches. I am a over tightener but I am working on that issue. I assume you are saying that you over tightened one of the screws down from the top into the microwave and it damaged the screw receiver. I wonder what kind of wedge you came up with. Anyway mine is on the island and ready to be put in place tomorrow....I wont torque those screws down too hard. Thanks. PS......there is another video about installing this unit done by a pro installer and he did not do the fan part correctly while u guys did....so congrats. I got it wrong then re read the instructions on coffee and corrected myself.
Just a heads up (as it's been approx. 6 months and it's time to change the charcoal filter); she actually uninstalled the filter and replaced in incorrectly... It doesn't lay flat, it should be at an angle--if this wasn't fix when you reinstalled it, please correct it so the air runs through the filter and not over the top of it (not filtering).
FYI. the charcoal filter needs to be at an angle to cover the airflow chamber. maybe you did it right, couldnt tell on the video.
