He is hilarious! I was on a trail ride that crossed a small creek like that. The first 3 horses walked across but the 4th horse jumped. Every horse after that jumped. This brought back memories!😊
Bahahaha. To funny. I go thru the same with my Roan. Will run into A lake and splash around and play but heaven forbid he has to go thru a puddle in the trail. Ohhhhhhh big dramatic it’s spooky. It might be deep. 😂😂😂😂
Ok so it’s the tiny calm little streams that’ll devour him in 2 seconds but the river aka bigger, stronger body of water=No problem mom I got this”🤭😂🌊oh Rudnik you’re such a goober. I love how he’s this giant beef cake linebacker of a horse & yet it’s mostly all the little mini things that give him night terrors 😅🖤💙😳
Texas USA. 🇺🇸 Completely adorable. The way Rudnik jumps across the water it’s like “Catch me mum.” “Watch me mum go across this water” “If only my friends could see me now” So precious ✝️ 😊❤️🙏🍁🇨🇦
@@rudniktheroan Texas USA 🇺🇸 😊 If there ever was a flying horse it would be Rudnik. There’s days I half way expect him to start talking like the horse on Mr Ed 😊😊😊BLESSINGS ❤️ 😊😊lol
Im glad I'm not the only one who deals with this. Mine won't touch the dirt if I have spilled water, but she will stand in a flood zone and snorkel to eat the grass underneath.
Could it be a smell thing? The smaller streams are not very free-flowing and so might smell different from the clean smelling, free flowing bigger streams? Or maybe it’s that the flowing water is clearer so he can see the bottom better? Either way, it’s hilarious and I love the dialogue you put in for him! Thanks for the laughs! 😂 I love you guys, you’re the best de-stresser!
It could be that! Sometimes horse logic really doesn’t make sense to us but I’m sure to them there’s a perfectly valid explanation as to why the tiny puddle or upside down bucket is the most terrifying thing to exist 😂
He's such a smart horse so I know that there's logic in Rudnik's decisions somewhere. Maybe it's just us who don't fully understand. Regardless, this is one of your best videos. I love the scenes themselves but mostly I love the humour that you interjected by way of the on-screen comments. If I wasn't already subscribed, I would most certainly subscribe now!
We do actually but I haven’t shared it anywhere because I don’t really like to be that person asking people to buy stuff that I should just buy myself 😅 but this is so appreciated! Thank you so much! It really is so overwhelming once you realize just how much there is to get for the little one before they arrive and with the due date getting closer the pressure is definitely starting to build 😅
@@rudniktheroan Hang in there! They really only need your love. They can sleep in a box with blankets, but they can't do it without you. B will have to really step up with Rudnik, you will have a couple months of down-time. And now you have Snow? Yikes! You might be surprised how many people might kick in on a registry. Maybe do a vid with you and B setting it up. See what happens. But really just wishing you good luck, it's hard being young these days.

💥Too funny! Maybe it's just all in the perspective, or maybe he's got an eyesight problem. Have you tried riding behind another horse who just steps across these small streams? Maybe he has never had the opportunity to "see" how to cross these. The rivers are easy and fun. Hope Fancy Dinner was fun!💥
Dinner was amazing, thank you! And we have tried a couple times to follow and since these two clips he’s definitely gotten better at it. These were just the very two first instances he had with streams and I found it quite ironic given how he’ll happily charge right into a freezing moving river to snorkel but jumps 6’ over a tiny stream 😂
Rudnik is sucha dork, but he's a lovely dork! it's kinda hilarious that he fears streams but wades into wider bodies of water. I'm going to guess that he sees the streams are deep dark pits leading to hell, he fears falling into the crack so has to jump rather than tumble. Just means he sees that way, but we know he sees generally really well. Does he roll in rivers? He loves to roll in dirt and grass, but riverbeds might be less comfy to roll in...
Tips for beginning trail riders. You're better off in the saddle. He could jump on you. Keep him on a short leash, hang on to the saddle, and MAKE him take one step at a time. If he starts pawing in the water, you better kick him to go, or you're going for a swim.
In this situation I would rather be on the ground to lead him across. If I stayed in the saddle and just kicked it could create a lasting sense of fear. By getting off to lead him across it’s showing him there’s nothing to be afraid of. He finds following to be less scary than simply being pushed across from above. For some horses, yes it probably works best to remain in the saddle but in Rudniks case, it’s much better for our training to get off and lead him across instead of just kicking and possibly creating an unsafe situation that could result in my coming out of the saddle
Stagnant water is unsafe. Flowing/moving waters are safe. Horses know this. Both to drink from, and from a possible snake/predator being in the stagnant water, perspective.
I love how you play with your heart it's so good I think you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life not long blonde hair girls good Lord
😂
Rudnik has a little bit of clown in him and it’s adorable ❤
He definitely has a BIG personality 😂
Lol, he likes the big ones but is terrified of the little ones. Aw, Rudnick. ❤
Makes sense, right 😂
You put a smile on my face down here in Florida and your memes are hysterical!!!! Rudnik you are a goofball😂😂😂😊
Oh I’m glad! Thank you for watching 😊
Gotta love him a huge amount. He has his quirks just like the rest of us😊.

Such an adorable goofball. (I'd say little goofball, but I think he exceeds the weight limit for 'little' to be accurate.)
Absolutely!!!!
Rudnik has horse sense, but us mere humans can’t understand it! 😀
Yayyy My Rudnik fix ❤❤❤

LOL Rudnik's a water horse except when he's not xD
I mean who knows what’s hiding at the bottom of those puddles! Horse eating monsters are no joke! 😂

Horses can be so funny. My old mare did the same thing. 😂

He does it every time because he's not broke.
And you clearly know a horses training history based off 5 seconds of footage 😂 Impressive
Rudnik is a lovely seahorse now...........😘😍
The cutest seahorse
This reminds me of the video with the horses who wouldn’t walk down the path because of THE BUNNY!
Ahaha why does this not surprise me 😂

“Something touched me” 😅
I've wondered how he would react to crossing water. He is so smart.
Just a big drama queen 😂
Rudnik - If i can not “DRINK” the water;
I will “NOT WALK” through it either……
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I mean he has some valid points there! Who knows what creatures lurk in still waters 😂

His logic is confusing 😂He’s never rolled yet thankfully. I had a mare growing up that would roll in every mud puddle we came across 😂
@@rudniktheroan Well, let's hope he does not learn of the delight rolling in water is for all Equines!
My OTTB would get to the middle of whatever body of water and lay down.....
I was honestly waiting for him to do that in the river 😂 I had a mare that would do that in the muddiest puddles every time !
