every snow leopard has a 1.2% of being anything else than caramel and snow. To be exact every 200 leopards ur gonna get a leucistic and a melanistic on average and every 500 leopards ur gonna get an albino. Hope this helps

setting time to around 10:00 and leave to walk near the roads, I've spotted many zones, or tracks if you are lucky enough, but I've followed a track to around 100-150m away from road, if unlucky enough, you might have to do many runs around the map to get tracks and calls, but at least I've got something, also start in places where its likely to have in other maps, but your video is very helpful
Thank you. Amazing video. I have seen 3 so far but dudbt have a shot due to vegetation. I followed one for a KM but then got attacked by 3 Jack's out of the blue so had to shoot them and obviously lost the leopard. I have found a resting zone at 3.00 am so dropped a tent and will try to find him . Thanks this is really helpul. Great content as always ❤

Taxied it cause they are definitely difficult to come by and now the rest zone dissapeared 😅

Really lucked out with my first leopard, a Melanistic. Still screaming, that was on launch day for this dlc. Now to start the grind for the Leucistic and Albino!

It's not consistent but, another tip for hunting snow leopards is to look for warning calls, or rabbit thumps from like 250-400m away. It at least lets you know if one is in the area.
Edit: foxes spook wooly hares too, (so that isn't always a guarantee), but not something to rule out completely.
Thats true, or if you see animals fleeing at a distance is probably cuz there's a leopard chasing them

I got hares being spooked 250~400, and when I reach then, I've found foxes roaming around, so this is mostly to get a false-positive
Just want to let everyone know Snow Leopard are found as low as the middle lake in Pahad. Found a rest zone in north Pahad too

Snow Leopards are strange. On one hand, they are elusive, rare and hard to spot. On the other, once you find one you can follow it pretty easy as they casually stroll off, or if one sounds a warning call, it gradually gets closer to you. Or you can crawl up to about 20metres from it. Was on a timeout and noticed I got hit by a fleeing Tahr. Picked up my controller then a Snow Leopard stopped dead in its tracks 10m away. Then just sat and stared at me until i shot it 😂
Yeah they can be pretty slow a lot of times lol

My first and only Snow Leopard I found was from a max estimate track. It was a lvl 8 and almost made diamond but good thing it didn't since it turned quickly and I accidently brained it. Still a meh because it would have made a nice placeholder.
Saw a lvl 8 diamond posted the other day

Thank goodness these things don't go aggressive, because one time I spawned in a tent I set for Yaks and there was a leopard staring at me from the opening 😂.

@@ProXCK agreed. Also to add on to the guide, if you're going to hunt these things, especially if you do the slow stalk approach, you should probably bring the dog since they'll growl if you get close to a leopard
If you go on about a 3 minute walk northwest from Sano Guan outpost, there is this rocky area and I just found a snow leopard feed zone there. It is an animal carcass.

@@ProXCK just found a level 9 snow leopard using your first spot. Followed it around that mountain for 35 minutes just for it to go through a bush and then I lost the tracks. Hope I get luckier tomorrow lol

I was watching this looking for a snow leopard and i found a guaranteed dimond yak
I killed a lot of snow leopards and I could not find anymore for 2 days till I went to this zone you told me to go to on 3 and I found one a level 6 caramel it was really fortunate but unfortunately it only had one snow ghost butt I got him in spot 3
You can find leopard in north of Pahad too, 100% confirm.

Cool stuff but I have yet to spot a single snow leopard still anywhere I think I am going to quit on them for a while and hopefully maybe they will get a drink zone make it a little easier

eu não acho que o Leopardo das Neves seja o diamante mais raro do jogo, ele apenas tem pouca quantidade no mapa, e por ter pouca quantidade, ele tem mais chances de ser raro, igual os tigres que estão aparecendo vários raros

Nothing official, many people including me have tried to count them and around 10 seems to be the general consensus

They can be on both but normally on areas with trees
