We need more these cases back. I loved Corsair 760T and Corsair 380T. I have the former. I felt old when many people failed to recognize the Manta. Awesome work as always.
This is a case that fits only a mini ITX motherboard, but I dont consider it a mini ITX case, since it is bigger than some micro ATX cases. So I'm completely uninsterested about it. But I understand that there are many that put form before function, so I might be wrong.
Maybe add Micro Atx support, like it will still have 3 or 4 expansion slots for modern gpus, and there is a lot of wasted room in the front, can probably mount the Psu next to the motherboard like some Itx cases and open up the bottom for full Atx boards while keeping a similar profile. Then like 2 180s at the bottom and 1 more at the top.
the Manta lasted me through two builds and is one of the most sentimental PC cases for me because it was my first time building a PC with brand new parts. I've also been building ITX builds ever since that case

This was so much fun to watch. I really like how you add a personal connection to the beginning of your videos and this one really showed an emotional journey. IMO if they kept the similar design but increased the perforation at the front and top, I don't see why it wouldn't handle more powerful hardware and it still looks cool. BTW somehow I was expecting your car to be black for some reason :P
I had a black car previously, but as somebody who obsessively likes a clean car, black was WAY too much hard work 😂 literally breathe near it… filth. Silver is good contrast to my all out black approach to life haha
I would be happy if the acrylic panel became a glass panel. Is it difficult just because it is a curved surface? I am also one of the people who is looking forward to the revival of manta.
I had the Black and White Manta, with a sick custom watercooled build in it. I consider it one of my biggest mistakes selling that case, it was awesome.
This made me nostalgic for a case I already have lol. My Manta is still going strong from 2016, I probably have upgraded every part of my PC since my original build but I can’t move on, I love the look.
I have always loved this case!! I used to call it "The Whale" :D But I never bought cause it was too little to be used as main pc, and too big for a htpc. Unfortunately NZXT never made an ATX version.. Thanks Matt Lee! Memories..

@simoSLJ89 even matx would solve 99% of all needs with big gpu support, 2-3 nvme m2 slots and some have 4x ram slots some have 2 slots but hey 32GB is enough for maaany. Matx with sxf-L or short ATX 140-150 mm PSU tops and size would still be great.
Would love to see NZXT rerelease and do a modern interpretation of this case with current case trends (tempered glass, better airflow). Love this "big" itx form factor. Amazing video!

I had seen SO many used cases, but those who know, also know that the acrylic window was prone to scratches. Finding a ‘mint’ unopened Manta was next to impossible. So glad I found it 😁 incredibly ironic that you sold one recently too! I could never sell this, it’ll be with me until I die (the case at least) ahahah

I still rocking my black NZXT Manta (without the glass display cover). I didn't realize how rare my case is since it doesn't have the glass display. It's a thing of beauty. Only issue i have with this case it doesn't have a USB C port out front.
Yeah, older cases were more fun in design...They're more functional now - it's better but overall...design is more boring. But smartly sculpted mesh...Instant-buy.

This is my case, I used it for my build in 2017 same identical color, with the original Nzxt Kraken with infinite mirror (which in my opinion is much more beautiful than the new one), 5 thermaltake riing fans first series, color Red (beautiful and were not super expensive like the current riing), Gigabyte Z170n-Gaming 5 mini-itx motherboard, black with red details and a red LED (at the time LEDs in the motherboards were rare), RAM Adata XPG Dazzle, With red leds that pulsate like hearts, video card RX580 ROG OC, still after all these years I keep the PC very clean and every time I look at it I am satisfied, this is in my opinion one of the most beautiful mini itx case ever created and I will never sell it , the video is fantastic I signed up.
I just did 2 custom old school x570s builds this summer and applied RAID0 to the m.2's talk about nostalgia, I personally have run all my rigs in RAID0 since 2004. No matter what the channels say, RAID0 is absolute and has always been bonkers fast with minimal latency. I create documents for print that are 4 meters tall by 27 meters long at 72 dpi sometimes I need to do 150dpi for super high end prints that size.
If I could go back in time I would buy all the overbuilt cases from Lian-Li, Cooler Master, and Antec that existed in the 2000s. Literally 3x the thickness rolled steel with much more bracing; My P-183 could take down a plane it's so heavy. Lian-Li used to make machined cases made of almost all aluminum. I could never afford them at the time sadly.

I have this case brand new in the box still along with my other pc parts from 2019. Never opened and built my system. AMD 7 and brand new rtx back in 2019. sad.
Heck no. In today's world either power hungry gpu/cause. Mesh or until we find a better way to cool is gonna be the standard. That case remind me of an Alienware circa 2019 and makes me choke just looking at it. I guarantee under load its 80-90c min

Jajajajajja. what are you doing inside my pc!! jajaja. that one nail it. and the pre youtube carrier. jajaja. Manta was a good concept back on the day. A case that sold nice. and has it ups and down, before youtubers kill most hardware around cause price or the hot box ideals. was unique on most areas for miniboxes. was heavy with all in, and if your hands are big, hard to work. but did make the job done. I think NZXT can do a limited run with tweaks and keep the spirit of it, like more airflow on front and top and space to put a 4000 series gpu, (there are mods around). but can be done. industry has change a lot. I still have the old noctis 450 here. and i want reuse it again. Need work, send it for pain removal and or sandblasting and re do the back. let see. Manta line and noctis where the few first cases that make changes on those days. Thanks Matt for the amaizing video! bless you!
done all this searching and I have a white one on my desk beside me waiting to be updated. It has a build from 2015 in it currently. Just patiently been waiting to purchase new hardware..... I really like my Manta case.
So I have a novice question: I've seen your recent builds and you always use the push configuration with the AIOs but I've read/heard it makes it harder to do cleaning later. Is that true? And why do you like the push config over the pull?

Finding that case u wanted for so long feels so amazing, same happened to me with the evga DG77, I was trying to build a full evga system back when evga announced their break up with Nvidia as tribute. I even modded it for making room for a E-ATX mobo. great video Mr Matt
If nothing else I think a limited run MML edition v.2 of this case is warranted. Also, it's hard to tell from the video but what is the finish/material of that case? It looks like vinyl or pleather, maybe a really high grade plastic but there's definitely an alternative material choice and it's hard to pickup on camera.
I'd love to see someone with a more higher end GPU with this case. I've seen people run a 2.5 slot GPU. The thickness becomes an issue quickly. 7800XT Pulse should fit nicely.
i was looking for a cheapy pc to start gaming i found my manta on ebay in uk for £200 free post inside is a Z97E-ITX/ac, intel i7-4770k, 16 gb of ddr3 1866MHz, nzxt water cooled, 500gb ssd,1 tb ssd, 2tb hdd and a RX 570 8GB GDDR5 Graphics Card its totaly good enough for me
As a black and red theme guy myself, this case bangs!!! Should they bring it back - yes! Mesh woul be great and same for the lower shroud to accomodate larger GPUs.
The manta brings back major nostalgia. Classic case with a modern interior, they need to bring this case back, the design was so good. Modernize it with better airflow and gpu compatibility and ill scoop it up without a second thought

Fuuny I just bought new parts for a new build and my previous one is 7 years old and it is in the Manta.. I forgot about the name untill I saw this video :) It has served me well!
I had to look exactly what is this case all about, and I actually found one listed in my country for $105 (or roughly 82 pounds for the UK folks). I guess it's one on those cases that stood the test of time, especially in the ITX format.
i have a nzxt manta. thats been sitting dormand form around the time the rtx 3000 serices launched. the black and red version. going to turn it into a nas. its nice to see someone else who has as much love for this case as me wish i would have see your seach for it tho. could have helped out.
What its the GPU clearence on this case, on the official spec sheet it says 2 slot GPU, but i have see galaxy hall of fame almost triple slot fitting there....
So, should NZXT bring back the Manta with a V2? Would it have mesh front and top panels? A lower PSU shroud for larger GPU’s? You know my answer…

A case that sold nice. and has it ups and down, before youtubers kill most hardware around cause price or the hot box ideals. was unique on most areas for miniboxes. was heavy with all in, and if your hands are big, hard to work. but did make the job done. I think NZXT can do a limited run with tweaks and keep the spirit of it, like more airflow on front and top and space to put a 4000 series gpu, (there are mods around). but can be done. industry has change a lot. I still have the old noctis 450 here. and i want reuse it again. Need work, send it for pain removal and or sandblasting and re do the back. let see. Manta line and noctis where the few first cases that make changes on those days. Thanks Matt for the amaizing video! bless you!
done all this searching and I have a white one on my desk beside me waiting to be updated. It has a build from 2015 in it currently. Just patiently been waiting to purchase new hardware..... I really like my Manta case.

So I have a novice question: I've seen your recent builds and you always use the push configuration with the AIOs but I've read/heard it makes it harder to do cleaning later. Is that true? And why do you like the push config over the pull?

Finding that case u wanted for so long feels so amazing, same happened to me with the evga DG77, I was trying to build a full evga system back when evga announced their break up with Nvidia as tribute. I even modded it for making room for a E-ATX mobo. great video Mr Matt
The Manta is a H210 with curved covers, so if NZXT release the H2 with Manta covers...
If nothing else I think a limited run MML edition v.2 of this case is warranted. Also, it's hard to tell from the video but what is the finish/material of that case? It looks like vinyl or pleather, maybe a really high grade plastic but there's definitely an alternative material choice and it's hard to pickup on camera.

I'd love to see someone with a more higher end GPU with this case. I've seen people run a 2.5 slot GPU. The thickness becomes an issue quickly. 7800XT Pulse should fit nicely.
i was looking for a cheapy pc to start gaming i found my manta on ebay in uk for £200 free post inside is a Z97E-ITX/ac, intel i7-4770k, 16 gb of ddr3 1866MHz, nzxt water cooled, 500gb ssd,1 tb ssd, 2tb hdd and a RX 570 8GB GDDR5 Graphics Card its totaly good enough for me
As a black and red theme guy myself, this case bangs!!! Should they bring it back - yes! Mesh woul be great and same for the lower shroud to accomodate larger GPUs.

The manta brings back major nostalgia. Classic case with a modern interior, they need to bring this case back, the design was so good. Modernize it with better airflow and gpu compatibility and ill scoop it up without a second thought
Un armado muy agradable y un case interesante pero cómodo a mi parecer, me gustaría que hicieras una build con el case Xlion HD735 Mesh o el normal si no lo encuentras, es un case económico con 3 fan rgb en el frontal, en minpais cuesta unos 61 dólares lo más barato pero he visto que en promedio anda pornlos 50 dólares, no es necesario que montes un pc potente con solo el armado y ya

I had to look exactly what is this case all about, and I actually found one listed in my country for $105 (or roughly 82 pounds for the UK folks). I guess it's one on those cases that stood the test of time, especially in the ITX format.
i have a nzxt manta. thats been sitting dormand form around the time the rtx 3000 serices launched. the black and red version. going to turn it into a nas. its nice to see someone else who has as much love for this case as me wish i would have see your seach for it tho. could have helped out.

What its the GPU clearence on this case, on the official spec sheet it says 2 slot GPU, but i have see galaxy hall of fame almost triple slot fitting there....
