I have a question about the wait times for people born in China/India but has acquired another citizenship (f.eg: Australia/UK/Canada etc), and living in country of their current citizenship. Will USCIS put them in China/India queue or they will be considered under country of their current citizenship and will have much less wait time. Can you please advise. Thank you.

Sounds like you are in the USA. You are planning for AOS, assume. If know of a successful case of a AOS submitted after NIW I140 approved, please let me know. Want to know that experience to prepare for such scenario. Thank you!

It’s better if it’s not from US or your country of birth

Depending on what courier you used. But typically it’s within a week

I used a check. Not sure if credit card is accepted
You don't need any recommendation letters for your case to be approved. Do not follow the masses, recommendation letter doesn't add even 1% to your chances of approval.

A good lawyer, will not require you to submit reference letters... especially if you have 50 citations and above as a researcher. Typically approval should be within two months. if you do it yourself,you will need references and approval time may be 6months above
I have heard all different view points. Many factors play in the application and if the case is approved.
