Thanks so much for taking me on a virtual trip with you to the Van Gogh Exhibition in Paris! I have definitely enjoyed seeing his works, especially the cows 🐄. I’m impressed by the variety of artwork that they showed & very pleased with your sharing of this experience! Have a great day & weekend 🥰
I'm so glad you enjoyed coming along with me to this exhibition Colleen :) I do like the cows, too - it's such an unusual subject for him! Thank you so much for your positive feedback and hope to see you in my next video soon :) Sorry for the late answer - I'm usually more present than that in the comments but the last couple of weeks were really crammed :/
Merci beaucoup :) Ravie que ce petit voyage digital vous ait plu ! En effet, impossible avoir une impression complète des toiles de Van Gogh sans admirer la texture :)
I love your video !!!! The late painting are some of the best work ever !!! He put it all together, with some help. I love the over exaggeration. Thank you !
This was a fascinating look at the exhibition. It was very professionally made and you did Van Gogh justice. I can't wait to see the next lot of videos from you. Do you ever work with watercolours? I'm learning but it requires lots of patience.
Thank you David! I feel very passionate about him and even read his letters to Theo, his brother maybe 10 years ago. His life is so tragic so whatever helps us dive a little into his imagination and thought process is really both inspiring and humbling. I did but I struggled. A lot :D It feels very counterintuitive for someone who is used to oils, everything is inverted. I admire watercolor artists, you can achieve incredible things with it but unfortunately it's unlikely to be in the cards for me :)
Thank you :) I was very happy to see so many paintings from distant places and really all over the world, too! One so rarely has the occasion to visit all the museums, so it's such a privilege to be able to see so may masterpieces reunited in one place :)
Lovely commentary…very articulate, relevant and mindful. Good camera work. Look forward to more gallery videos from europe …i’m such a long way away in Australia…lovely to see these works through your excellent videos. never mind the criticism…it’s just noise…keep up this great work and you’ll soon have as big a following as ‘james kalm ’ in new york…. thanks again
Thank you so much Patricia, that is such nice feedback and I'm so very glad you found my commentary interesting :) I'll definitely include more exhibition videos in future - it helps me organise my thoughts and impressions and really helps me remember every artwork better!
It's such a great one, right? The Musée d'Orsay is a fantastic space, it's definitely one of my favorite museums in Paris for sure. I do keep my fingers crossed for you to move to the Alpes!
I'm sorry, I wasn't under the impression it was so loud :/ I will turn the background music down for future videos, promise! Glad you still found it interesting though!
Please, please, tell me who is ‘Van Go’ ? Do you mean Vincent Van Gogh ? Enough of this Americanism ‘Van Go’ it’s so very embarrassing. ‘Van Go’ 🤦♂️ what a terrible mispronunciation of Vincent’s name. Shame on you ….

@@NinfaFluidaGallery You’re welcome 😉 & it’s fine with the reply. You are just living life as we all are doing. 💕😊
Super : j’ai apprécié la manière de faire découvrir l’harmonie des couleurs et surtout de voir de très près des zones de ses toiles !

Thank you :) I totally agree with you, I prefer his last works as well, they feel so harmonious to me.
please check out the youtube channel Perspective .....Waldemar did a 4 part series on the Impressionist's and 2 films on Van Gogh. All amazing !!!!
also an amazing Gauguin film......Waldemar is the best. His work - films are loaded with context. Namaste !

I was very happy to see pantings from museums in the US which I saw in the US. It was very nice exhibition and I liked the movie.

Bloody music carnt here what your saying
Sorry Jimmy! I wasn't aware it was so loud in editing... I will be more attentive next time and will keep the background music to a minimum - promise!
Wow. That electronic music over the narration is really annoying. Too bad, since the content is very good.

Shame on you ….
Take away the name, it's 10% talent and 90% marketing really.
You talk to fast and that music is a pain
