I took LuLu and TT to the hospital a while back to measure TT’s kidney (renal) failure levels and ensure LuLu could get his periodic checkup. Both TT’s kidney failure and LuLu’s hereditary Scottish Fold disease aren’t something that they can just make a full recovery from. These diseases require strict, daily maintenance, and I need to constantly pay close attention to their conditions at all times. According to Dr. Kim, TT’s condition was being handled properly, but LuLu’s disease had progressed a bit, which caused me quite a bit of grief. He’s more than capable of running around and playing to his heart’s content for the moment, but the uncertainty of the future still fills me with no small amount of fear. After receiving their test results, the unassailable truth that cats lead far shorter lives than humans hit me, and the unavoidable reality of aging saddened me. Still, I didn’t end up crying this time. Maybe I’ve grown a bit numb, or maybe I’ve learned to harden my mind, or maybe a bit of both. On the road back home, I reaffirmed my vow to treasure each day with my cats. No matter how hard or tiring it gets, I’m simply grateful for the fact that we’re together. * Taenung Cat Hospital operates on a reservation system. On days when I film videos, I try my best to go on days and hours with no other reservations, but that’s not always a possibility, and sometimes patients (other cats!) scheduled for treatment before my cats might require more time than expected. On such occasions, my cats and I wait in the inner waiting lobby. Also, you might have noticed that LuLu’s and TT’s checkups seem to take longer than usual. That’s because the two of them receive full, comprehensive checkups. Since the two of them require periodic checkups even if they aren’t in pain, they have to take more tests than usual.

TT is smarter than the other cats, and things that excite the other cats only seem to bore her. So yeah, she probably enjoys walks a lot more than being cooped up in the house with 9 other cats.

인간의 1시간이 개나 고양이들은 6시간 정도의 시간이 흐른 것과 같이 느낀다고 해요. 그래서 주인이 일하러 아침에 나가서 저녁에 집을 들어가면 정말 긴 시간이 지나서 만난 것처럼 격하게 반겨준다는 것을 어디에서 본 기억이 있어요..^^ 티티와 루루의 시간도, 다른 여덟 야옹이의 시간도, 세상 모든 고양이들의 시간은 그렇게 빠르게 지나가기에 소중히 사랑하고 오래오래 건강할수 있도록 아껴줘야하지 않을까..라고 생각해보게 되네요..^^ 아플 시간도 없이 집사님이랑 행복하게 사랑하며 살았으면 좋겠어..티티 & 루루 !!
As a mother of 16 cats, I too worry about my cats' health and mortality all the time. But there's little we can do except give them the best care we can afford and hope for the best. May the 10 Luvcats live a long, prosperous life ❤️

You could die tomorrow. Why not ask the people attached to you if it's worth it for them to be attached to you?
If I'm not mistaken, the Vet and the Cat Hospital is a reputable provider and had been quite famous since they got featured her in this channel and the other kitty channel that Claire has. I'm confident and worry free every time Claire brings her kitties to this Vet as he's a very good doctor.

나이를 먹어간다는게 서럽다는게 왠지 공감이 가네요 저희 고양이와도 7년쨰 같이 하고있는데 이제 사람나이로 치면 40대이니까 웃으면서 부모님 나이와 비슷하다고는 하지만 왠지 한편으로는 언젠가는 이별이라는 순간이 다가올건데 그 순간을 생각하면 마음이 좀 아파오네요 크집사네 고양이들처럼 언제나 옆에 있으면서 힘들때나 슬플떄나 같이 하면서 아픔을 같이 공유하고 즐거울때는 또 같이 즐거움을 공유하는 친구이자 가족이상의 존재였는데 남은 시간이 얼마 안남았다는것을 생각하면 좀 서럽네요 그래도 크집사님이 예전에 루루 다리 아픈걸로 우셨었는데 이젠 성장하신 모습을 보니 저도 성장해야겠다고 마음이 드네요 :)
We know that although animals take a mere part of our life, we're their whole life. Thus I hope that Claire won't be too saddened by the thought of aging because she's done a fantastic job raising & caring for the cats so they can stay healthy and happy. Claire is such a wonderful mother to the cats! TT, with a halo, is like the angel sitting on your right shoulder telling you to do good things! LuLu has horns and sits on your other shoulder telling you how to get into trouble! I think they are so amazing! 💞
I almost want to cry when Claire said that her kitties were once a babies but now they are older than her. gives us some realizations there, we all need to cherish the life of our furbabies with us 💖💖💖
Seeing DD and LaLa checking Lulu's scent to find out where he was and if he and TT were okay was so special! Also I think DD remembered that no matter how concerned he was about TT he just wasn't ready to end up with another bop upside his head!

나이를 먹어간다는게 서럽다는게 왠지 공감이 가네요 저희 고양이와도 7년쨰 같이 하고있는데 이제 사람나이로 치면 40대이니까 웃으면서 부모님 나이와 비슷하다고는 하지만 왠지 한편으로는 언젠가는 이별이라는 순간이 다가올건데 그 순간을 생각하면 마음이 좀 아파오네요 크집사네 고양이들처럼 언제나 옆에 있으면서 힘들때나 슬플떄나 같이 하면서 아픔을 같이 공유하고 즐거울때는 또 같이 즐거움을 공유하는 친구이자 가족이상의 존재였는데 남은 시간이 얼마 안남았다는것을 생각하면 좀 서럽네요 그래도 크집사님이 예전에 루루 다리 아픈걸로 우셨었는데 이젠 성장하신 모습을 보니 저도 성장해야겠다고 마음이 드네요 :)

I can relate to your pain, I had to put down several cats and one dog do to illness. It was painful but I was there to comfort them.

루랑이 진짜 볼 때마다 너무 귀엽고 만화에 나오는 고양이 실사판 같아요
연골이 많이 닳았다니 걱정되긴 하지만 주변 근육 강화하면 충분히 보완작용을 하기 때문에 크게 우려하지 않아도 될 듯해요
사람도 연골 닳으면 주변 근육 강화시켜주는 운동하라고 하고 실제 중요한 재활운동이잖아요. 강화방법이 좀 다를 것 같긴하지만...

I believe with the great love and care Claire has given to her cats, all her cats will be as healthy and happy as they can be. Claire, although it can be really tough for you when your kitties feel not good, you've done your best and have always been trying really hard. Your cats know that, and that's the most important. Best best best wishes to you and your kitties - Both Lulu and TT (as well as other cats) will be very healthy and live a long life.
