Nah, you're not alone! But, hopefully, you're in the sample group that got a hearty larf from this.
@@geofftefl I wanted to be, but the fact that he's trying to sell a product under misleading pretenses removed me out of that group. It would be okay if there was a disclaimer somewhere, but instead people are actually believing that he trained the cat to play accurate notes and on time-and they might think they can do it too with this product.
How do you figure? Why would he bother with laser lights on the right keys if this were the case?
Yes it's a pet feeder but during performance no pet feeder. The cat enjoys it. Just deal will you. If the cat doesn't like it he would not preform in public, clearly he does. Treats is how you train dogs and cats

This is such a delightfully fun journey & it shows the viewer what it really takes to:
1. How to make a video.
2. How to teach an animal new tricks.
And etc, etc, & etc.
Fascinating & enjoyable but also teaching more than Michael new things. I learned all of these animals & human “shaping” techniques in my psychology classes on learning & experiments in labs & research on learning in the 1960s. It is a pleasure to finally see them being applied in such a unique & enjoyable way! Thank you!

It is clearly seen that the cat is made by AI, the way it behaves and how it moves its eyes, its gestures are not normal for a cat of its breed, evidently this video is manipulated with AI

Exactly. It’s creeping me out. That’s not how cats are at all. The problem also with this video is he is projecting his own human problems onto the cat. The cat didn’t choose to “play the piano”. Why doesn’t he just let his cat be a cat? Cats are fiercely independent creatures. It says more about the guy than it does about the cat…👀

No, he didn't. As a musician I can say that he couldn't play this much different notes (F and A) by pushing his paw in almost the same area. It probably sounded like it usually sounds when a cat steps on a piano ;).
@@viacheslavsipakov1623, maybe not. It's possible that the piano was programmed to play the next note in the melody when a key is pressed, regardless of which key it is. If so, then the real question is whether the rhythm was real, or whether there is some video trickery for that.
@@brentjohnson7044 I agree, the piano could be programmed. But there is already trickery: when they explained the process of learning, the right keys lit up for cat to play. So I think the expected result would be the cat playing the right notes, not only rhythm
@@viacheslavsipakov1623, oh yes, there is definitely trickery. I interpreted this entire video as fiction (are we really expected to believe the narrative about Michael's depression, for example?), and as such it makes a great story. For me it's more a question of how the tricks were done.
