What’s the slot/marking on the back of the trackpad for?

One is the charging port and the other longer bar looking thing is for the Bluetooth antennas I believe.

Will this charge with a regular Lightning to USB-A cable? I have no open USB-C on my Mac Mini.

Any difference with touchpad 2 ?

None that I’m aware of, I believe they just rounded off the corners a bit more to match the newer Magic Keyboards.
