- Milwaukee Beerline Trail is a former rail line that has been abandoned and mostly removed, and is now a great bike and pedestrian trail along the Milwaukee River. This historic stretch of RR once served Blatz, Schlitz and Pabst Breweries, hence the nickname, Beerline.
What was, at one time, the most profitable segment of the MILWAUKEE ROAD . Back when Milwaukee produced tools, beer, heavy equipment, and lots of other things. The old MILW ROAD shop area is totally different now . All gone, but not forgotten.
Absolutely heartbreaking to see what once was.
It’s still great.
Be nice if the 80’s LBO’s didn’t occur.
Interesting to see what's left of once great Milwaukee.
