Teuri Island is found off the coast of Northern Hokkaido in the Sea of Japan.
It is the world’s biggest breeding ground for the seabird known as the rhinoceros auklet, and a variety of other seabirds including the Japanese cormorant, black-tailed gull, and the globally rare spectacled guillemot also breed here.
Come and meet the seabirds of Teuri Island, the “paradise of seabirds.”

天売島は、海、空、海鳥、空気が綺麗な小さな島です。特に、夜見る空の満天の星空は近すぎて吸い込まれそうになる。水平線から延びる夕陽など、とてもロマンティック気分になる。高所恐怖症の私は、地上から見る赤岩、屛風岩などは大の苦手．．．でも、私は天売島を誇りに思う。。。
