also take into account your brakes are going to be less effective and your bike is going to react slower to inputs and the suspension will be less responsive when you have an extra person on the back.

Theres alot of blind places for cars to turn on or off the road going 0 mph and theres no divider and a car could just flip a u turn for no reason. Slow down a bit in these areas to give yourself time to react.
