    Good afternoon. I thought I had the same problem with my Glock 43x USA version. Turned out to be one of the magazines it came with. One has no issue and the other jams. I stopped using the other original 10 round mag and I’ve had no issues whatsoever. You can feel the difference when I was loading the rounds into them.

    The 43x extractor part is up to #4 release. Break it down and look at the #1, #2, #3 or #4 stamped on the round tip of the part. It will have which number stamped into the part. This part has been released 4 times. Version 4 is the part in high demand mostly found on eBay that has eliminated the problem.

    I only have Gen 3 Austrian made. Gen 3 is the best generation of Glock. IMO

      You may be right. The Gen 3 Glock 22 was the first firearm I ever bought. I never had an issue with it. but I did get rid of it. And I do like the front serrations on the glock 43 XMOS and I look forward to getting it back.

    Keep us posted on what Glock says the problem is. I think it's something with the frame. Mine is doing the same thing and I have tried changing the slide, slide components, barrel, mags, etc. The only thing left for me to try is the frame. Mine worked great for over 2k rounds then I swapped my recoil spring for a HYVE stainless steel one. After 250 rounds my gun started not going into battery and then finally jammed and would not move at all. I took it home and when I removed the slide the I noticed the entire spring assembly had come apart. It ruined my slide and I had to buy a new one. It's still is getting FTE every other round.
    I know yours is brand new, but it looks like its doing exactly what mine is doing now.

    Having same issue with g43x (non mos). Took it to store I bought it and 3 of the employees checked it out, had same issue, and said something is wrong, that they have never seen anything like it. They apologized and said to contact Glock. Have emailed glock and even taken it in to Glock. They checked pistol out, said this is how it is made now. 100% normal. Nothing wrong. This is my 3rd glock. Have shot may other pistols and never had this issue. Have even shot 2 other 43x's prior to Glock making this change without issue. Here is what Glock said- "There is a notch on the breech face opposite of the extractor that is there to hold the casing in place when firing to improve ejection. That notch can also require you to pull the slide back harder to eject a live round from the chambler." This new feature makes Operation almost impossible, and I'm not a small guy. This makes pistol inoperable for smaller person, female, or older person (especially with arthritis). It takes a heck of a performance and strength to remove an unfired round. Racking slide and loading is no problem though. Would not have purchased if I knew this change was made.

    Regardless of the brand I always tell people to test a gun prior to carrying a gun. I’ve noticed my girlfriends 43x is a bit more finicky than other Glocks, but I’ve never had issues like this with it. I’ve only had about 2-3 failures with it in other shooters hands typically due to limp wrist. I’ve seen a few 43x mos models have this issues online. The 43x is amazing for the weight, but your right it’s very snappy in comparison to many other guns. It’s light so a lot of people that I have shoot it kind of change their mind on buying one due to the snap. I wish Glock would make 15 round mags for it that are Oem.

    I had the same issue with my 43X MOS Battlefield Green, seems like you just need to rack it a lot harder and fast, racking it too slow won't cut it for this gun

    Happened to me too with my 43x MOS. The bolt for my optic was too long. I took it to the shop and they changed out the bolt on the right side of the optic. Happened 1 week ago and haven't had the chance to fire it, but will in a couple of days

  • @jcapile
    @jcapile หลายเดือนก่อน

    Not sure if someone suggested this yet but it seems like when you’re cocking it. looks like you’re putting pressure on the extractor from the outside, located on the side of the gun where you’re pinkie finger is pressing onto Everytime you’re racking it. keeping the extractor from doing what it’s suppose to do. Cuz Seems like it cycles and works fine when you’re shooting it from what you mentioned.

    • @quoththeraven7
      @quoththeraven7  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@jcapile nope! I did that for the purpose of the video I normally just slingshot the slide. I do that with every gun I have, this is the only one that has problems. And confirm by GLOCK, when I sent it to them, they fixed and returned it, I no longer have issues.

    I got mine yesterday too my brother 540 with tax and when i got home i went to rack the round out it got stuck but i havent shot it yet you just need to break it in with about 1,000 rounds and make sure you oil it up its looking real dry brother ! Also mine is from Georgia usa too mos version

    • @kickadams8908ass
      @kickadams8908ass 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You never had to do that with a Glock. Glocks usually come right out the box, ready to run. quality control is an issue in the U S

    • @michaelmartinez6395
      @michaelmartinez6395 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @kickadams8908ass not really the 43x out of the box is verry hard to rack due to its heavier recoil spring thus making the round not easy to rack out if you are racking it softly or haven't shot it yet please do research before commenting on post thank you - M

    Same issues. Didn’t happen before but now it’s started, about 250 rounds in. I recently installed the Optic. Don’t known if that’s causing it.

  • @Bryy777
    @Bryy777 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    From experience the right ride screws on the optic plate or optic, you gotta make sure it is flush to the slides threading. If it comes in contact with extractor rod, this will happen, also just a tip, yes you are racking it back but not alll the way back, that always helps with faulty extractors, the bullet will come out no matter what. I do feel the frustration is a new gun. Good luck in your g43x journey

    mos plate screw on to tight on the side where the extractor is, it was the issue with my 43x, had to mill the screw so it was shorter on the one side

    i recently bought a 43x.. was working a bit so i didn’t have much time to take it to the range. put it in my safe for about a week. the first loaded magazine i put it, and the very first round, my firearm did the same exact thing. failure to extract. on a brand new out of the box glock is absolutely ridiculous…

    I have the same issue with mine, Glock says that on a empty magazine well with a round chambered, you have to rack a slide really hard to get the round to eject. I am having extraction issues while firing as well which I cannot figure out why. I have cleaned the extractor really good and it still happens about every 40 rounds.

  • @andybars8672
    @andybars8672 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Did you actually shoot it? It’s much different the way the slide goes back is much faster and harder. It looked as if it wasn’t even going back the whole way which would be your ejector not extractor

    I live about an hour away from Glock. Thats not true about the warranty. I've done all kinds of aftermarket stuff to my Glocks, they just take it out and replace it back to OEM Glock. They put all the non Glock parts in a bag and give it back to you. They'll replace all the internal parts that needs to be replaced for free and they give you all kinds of Glock souvenirs when you leave. They have something that's better than lifetime guarantee, is call brother-in-law guarantee. They'll take care of you with a handshake.

      @@quoththeraven7 so, you set your gun back with aftermarket sites to Glock and they didn't send back the aftermarket sights? Wow, that's surprising. You should have called and asked them about that. I have a buddy who had Glock night sights on his gun and when he took it to Glock for other work, they changed out his night sights for new one for no charge. In my experience, if it's Glock OEM they replace with new OEM parts if needed. I had an older version of a Glock magazine and the Glock armorer replaced it with a newer version. Like I said, the 3.5Ib ghost connector and couple of other stuff I had in my gun he took out and replaced it with OEM Glock parts and gave me back all my aftermarket parts I paid online.

      This is a ridiculous comment. None of my Glocks have ever needed broken in. There’s no such thing as a “break in” period for a gun. It should function right out of the box.
