- This is the Soviet campaign playthrough for Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 with no commentary.
Playing on medium difficulty.
I will try to complete all main and bonus objectives for each mission.
Graphics on ultra settings.

Jeez, V2 Rockets are a double edged sword, nearly took out your ore miner lol
Actually those are V4 rockets, and they are definitely deadlier than their previous versions.
V2 was in Red Alert 1 and they fire in a straight line from the vehicle but did massive area damage and could wipe out your army if you are not to careful with them.
V3 was in Red Alert 2, more accurate and less collateral damage, however they take awhile to launch can be shot down.
V4 seems to fire and travel faster, pretty accurate and can't be shot down by anti air.
Still rather dangerous if not used right. But thanks for the heads up :)

When I played this mission, it was fog of war
Whenever I see Nintendo (I love this company) take down fan projects, I watch this soviet mission and pretend the enemy is Nintendo and I have a laugh to see it shamble in pieces.

you almost always need to set v4 and other bombardment units to hold fire stance
I dont remenber much vack when I was playing it but I think I finished the mission with kirov and twinblade etc i think to take down the emperor
so question for RedAlert2Havoc, on the uprising expansion, the death of the emperor was canon?
I would say so. The Uprising campaigns all follow the Allied ending from RA3, but the Emperor is either dead, captured or retired by the end of all the campaigns in RA3. Therefore he doesn't appear in Uprising.

I played this 3 times, and I notice that they don't have much defences for air unit so the third time I just built an army of heli, and destroy them with 20+ heli

Because they are enemies, even though there is now a third faction, the Soviets still do not want any help. The next mission reinforces this idea.
how did you remove the fog
It seems to be a bug, sometime the fog will stay or disappear after the cutscene. When I was playing/recording this mission, my fog disappeared and I though that was meant to happen. Someone has asked me this question before, I try replaying this mission and the fog did stay. I have even check other people's playthrough of the mission and the fog stays in some and disappears in others. So it seems to be a bug.

Helpful actually. He keeps the enemy occupied on the right side of the map, so that I can concentrate on the left side then push forwards to the right.

If you meant moving the 2 apocalypse tanks together, I used this method: After selecting your units, move your mouse cursor to an area you want your units to move to and hold down both the left and right mouse button and drag the cursor to create the unit formation. When you let go of the mouse buttons, your units should move to that area in that formation.

Why the map was fully revealed?
It is just part of this mission. The whole map is revealed to you since you have already sent a small invasion force to the center of the map. The rest of the map isn't really a secret to keep hidden, so I guess they revealed the whole map to you when they sent you the rest of your army.
yeah it was wierd to see everything without the fog but it made it easier for me

I'm not trying to shit on you or anything. I was stumped on the iceland mission and your chopper strat worked like a charm.
Hmm, I just went back in and replayed this mission, and I seem to have the fog of war. Looks like some sort of glitch/bug that happen when I was playing/recording this mission. I never purposely cheat in any of my playthroughs, this was just a lucky bug that must have happened.
However I saw another player's playthrough of this mission and they seem to also not have the fog of war while there are other playthroughs of this mission with the fog of war. Seems to be a bug in this mission.
You start with the mission without the fog of war and after the fake assassination of the emperor, the map gets extended, so the bug sometimes appears and the game forgets to activate the fog of war.
