I think it was the DVD that made her watch it, cause Dr bob did say she didn't know what made he play the DVD or did she even remembered putting it in, so it has so effects on the person close to it
This is different than what you usually do, a new fluidity to the animations and the way the baby sitter's eyes were drawn really captured her earnest feelings.

What's interesting about this SCP is that it arguably shows the truth. Every single person in the SCP universe is fake, just toys whose life we manipulate for our enjoyment. Not actual dolls but close enough.

We could be someone else's fiction, how would we differentiate? The thoughts we're having could be prompted by an author and we would be unable to not have them, but we still do hold our life as meaningful right? Even if that was the case we would still hold our lives as meaningful, at least I would, my experiences are intrinsically valuable. But knowing that it makes it hard to disprove that fictional characters we create don't experience the world as vividly as we do. And we'd have no way to check what they feel about it because we decide what they feel about it. Of course it's unlikely to actually be the case, but the prospect that it's possible and that there is no way to check is genuine nightmare fuel much more so than any monster crawling under your bed.

Another great video! I just have one note for you, if I may... The only way that a meat cleaver would have a razor sharp edge (or a sharp edge at all, honestly) would be if someone owned it who knew nothing of how it's meant to be used, and went well out of their way to sharpen it. Meat cleavers do not have a sharp edge because they are meant to separate joints and cut bone, which are tasks that would severely damage a sharp edge. I know, it's a relatively minor point, but a truly great story gets all the details right. This one feels like it's 99% there! Keep up the great work!

This one's fairly interesting. I actually seen this one on the other SCP channel recently. Scary part is something like this in real life could actually happen. In the past there was scientists studying different forms of led. And let is one of those substances that can not only poison you, but it also can make you hallucinate and alter your mood. Led in its purest form apparently is clear like water but can penetrate actual barriers between your skin and the led. A woman who was studying this led actually went insane when she got a drop of it on her rubber gloves and it's still soaked through her skin. In the other version they mentioned how that the movie doesn't affect the individual if it's put on to internet or downloadable media. So it's apparent that the movie itself is just a suggestion. Like a hypnotist suggested somebody to do something. I bet the hypnotizing agent would be a substance similar to this clear form of lead impregnated on a disc or DVD case itself. Therefore the actual picking up of the DVD or the case is the defining Factor.
This is an interesting possibility. Testing needs to be done on whether someone who watches the DVD without either touching it or the case at any point will still be affected.

Makes sense this SCP is a Euclid. Sure you can lock up the samples and everyone is safe from those samples as long as they're not use like your typical safe class, but until the source of the production is found and stopped, there's always a chance of more Doll DVDs out there infecting people.

Makes sense this SCP is a Euclid. Sure you can lock up the samples and everyone is safe from those samples as long as they're not use like your typical safe class, but until the source of the production is found and stopped, there's always a chance of more Doll DVDs out there infecting people.

So I wanted to post this as a separate comment. Not to be annoying or anything. I have medical affirmed Depression and Anxiety.
I honestly don't know why the video effected me. It wasn't even from my fear of dolls. Maybe it was the lady who dies in the SCP Film? Or the trauma effects it causes, along with psychological changes in a person?
So I just wanted to let people know, who are like myself. Pause the video or stop watching completely if you have to. There is no shame in checking your health.
Great work as always though. 👏 love your work at this channel. I made it through most of the video but I personally had to stop watching.

I would appreciate a warning if certain SCPs effects or the stories attached seem to hit close to a form of reality. (If your team thinks the SCP Experience might be harsh for some.) I know what I am getting into when watching SPC stories, and I do deeply enjoy them. But I can't possibly remember or know all of them.
I honestly never would have thought my Mental and Emotional issues would have even been triggered by this. It's a shocking, new, and weird experience for me to.
So before any troll or angry comments get slammed my way. This comment was only ment to be informative and a warning for people who might have health issues they have little to no control over like myself.
