SCP 1269 is a black, aluminum curbside mailbox, possessing a red flag and a white, plastic post. SCP1269 stands 1.3m tall, with the mailbox measuring 49.5cm x 15.2cm x 17.7cm, consistent with the T2 mailbox size in the United States.
SCP-1269's anomalous properties will manifest only when a single female 23 years or older (hereafter referred to as "the occupant") resides within the same property as SCP-1269.
Attempts to remove SCP-1269 from its location have so far been unsuccessful. SCP-1269 will teleport to its original curbside location after one hour of relocation.

It's more specifically for notifying there's something inside.
Different regions sometimes use it differently.
Some use it for outgoing, some use it for packages/incoming, and some for both.
The others must be talking of their own regions. But I know my region only has their flag up when they are sending mail out
It makes you wonder what would the result be if the letters were returned with interest. How would the mailbox react to someone who was actually interested in the secret admirer?
It'd probably get very possessive and toxic, and drop the "nice guy" facade once it got what it wanted.

Now this one is just the very definition of bizarre. A mailbox that acts like a stalker.....and is admittedly more creepy than an actual stalker. There really is no limit to the potential of SCP as a whole.
It adds more truth to the fact that sometimes your biggest problems can be just near or in your backyard. And the forms they can take....well, they just might surprise you.

I imagine real world stalkers are very intimidating because of the real damage can do (Not trying to belittle those stories, at least not on purpose. Just saying.)

It depends on where you live and sometimes the postal service.
Just some note:
The stalker mailbox once stalked a woman while she's having a shower.
The more the letters come, the more punctuation vanishes.
The D-class was found to have a lack of hands and lips.
The last message was:

Omg out of all the creepy, strange and horrific scp stories I've seen on this channel for some odd reason that mailbox peeking around the corner is mega creepy to me. I find it creepy yet hilarious at the same time. Awsome, I love this stuff it's so cool.

Online love and friends can exist, they are just harder to mantain your relationship with - Anyway I once went too far with getting toxic to a friend of my love and was getting too pushy over a thing with him. I regret it deeply nowadays.. We have been together about 3-4 years. Might not sound like a lot, but it felt like it was.

There seems to be something off with the height. A height of 1/3 m is very small. That's like 1ft. The box appears to reach to the woman's chest, so it would put her height at around 0.5 m, which is ... the size of a newborn baby.

This video seemed a bit....rushed? The details at the end of the video directly contrast the story told (the letters only showing up after 2 weeks vs the story where it happened the first day, the mail post being plastic vs in the story where it's wooden) and the details at the end also repeat information twice in short succession, as if the narrator was reading off of an unrevised draft. I still love Dr. Bob videos, don't get me wrong! I just hope the team isn't pushing themselves to release content too fast.

That's not what the flag is for, the flag is to let the mailman know that YOU placed mail to be SENT out.
Most "new age" SCP's, when it became mostly mainstream basically, are written by amateurs totally baised and very ignorant to say something. They lack coherency, not the one needed to make it interesting, but like basic writting coherency. The fact that this SCP stalks only women tells a lot about the writter, HER age, and the times SHE lives in.

This SCP feels similar to SCP 1471, aka Malo. Both of them are Euclid SCPs and that stalk you, but are otherwise harmless.

A spirit or a familiar spirit was infused to the mailbox by an ex-witch that lived in the house(because she felt insecure or targeted, unless murky business), the question is of what is it underneath the property and maybe also a woman can have conversations out loud with the mailbox after she moves into that place and opens the letters each day to discuss more with the mailbox. It's mainly a mistery that can be solved by conversations and asking.
But how will the Mailbox respond?
It will instantly write latters or something?

In case you wonder how it can afford to write it is because it is a soul or entity in another realm that maybe has a room, a table and a pencil.
