I discovered Atmosphere with Lucy Ford LP when I was a sophomore in high school. 20 years later, I'm in my mid 30s and they're still one of my favorites artists ever. I grew up along with Slug and Ant, went through things in my life and wether good or bad they had a song for me to relate to. Keep up the great work guys.

I don't know much rap, haven't listened to much of it in my life and stumbled on this guy's music on youtube by accident years ago. I humbly believe Slug's the OG, vastly superior to Eminem or 50cent... His music is tight, vivid and his writing is unbelievably accurate with a great flow and fierce confidence in its delivery.
Reminds me of Blame Game. Almost like a “grown” man version of it with the same vibe. Can’t wait for Mesa with Cypress Hill. Probably my only chance to see either of them, being from/in Pittsburgh, but I’m taking it. Both(among others) are major influences on the stuff that I do (not that it’s important.)

First time I ever seen a Rhymesayers show was also the first time they sold out the metro in Chicago Illinois. From then on I caught every single show they performed in Chicago for nearly five years straight, no joke. Back then if one was on tour then they were all pretty much on that tour, the entire Rhymesayers roster would be at the show, and if an artist wasn't performing that night they were on stage for another artist as the hype man lol... it's been awhile since I've been to a slug show or Brother Ali show or any Rhymesayers show for that matter, probably time i go, again!
