Hi Hazardous one thing to tell you, instead of using the handbrake to start the drift if u do a clutch kick to initiate it and then pull the handbrake after or when your going into another turn makes drifting a lot easier once you get the hang of it

Yo, I randomly got this recommended and you taught me more than a year of playing forza motorsport did. I started at 900 and I've been absolutely horrible every day. I switched to 540 today and it's amazing the difference it made. I'm going to progress similarly now. Thank you.

@@jdrifts5938 games meant for controllers really. It’s cool on the wheel as a game to mess around on and it’s getting better in that part. I think Motorsport is a bit better but they’re both cool to play every once in awhile
When I got my wheel, it took me about a month of solid practice to get it down, and me being on console meant I started at 900 degrees. It was hella hard at first, but once you get used to it, you are unstoppable. So to all the people out there struggling, keep pushing, you can do it too!

you drift better in day one than i do in day 7 of training, ima try that wheel rotation degree to 540 and higher from there maybe it might help bcus started whit 900 degress also what car is that u use at first and what tune?

Carx is quite the tricky game on the wheel with the base tunes, tuning the car will make it easier to control and drift with, i highly recommend modding the game with kino mod and applying tunes that other people have made.
It took me 2 whole days of none stop grinding to get good at drifting on assetto (my first time drifting) and it was the best feeling in the world so i know how u feel brotha i wuit trying before that after 5 mins so after i put my mind to it I accomplished everything i wanted to do
I tend not to use the handbrake starting a drift, i'm more into skandinavian flick or Feint.. Going to a right hander i would: Right, left and right again to carry the momentum and throw the weight of the car.. I'm mostly using the handbrake to prolong the drift, if a corner is a bit out reach of the car angle, hold the e-brake to delay the drift going forward in a straight line :)

Any suggestions on what a good but cheap steering wheel shifter and pedal set up is? Even second hand? I just recently got a flashfire Suzuka 900R and the steering is soooooo delayed so I am gonna sell it back off for cheap but I still want to get another set up
Actually, carx was made to be playable with a wheel, just when you start at forza, you wont feel like the actual real life drifting, it would be the best if u tried it out with carx first
anyone noticed that the "handbreak" its a secuential shifter? you can use it like a handbrake anyway, just to tell to all others what is in reallity for not making confusions
My first days with wheel started now. Yeah, after controller with wheel is sooo much harder! At the moment I dont want to spend more money, so I don't have special handbrake just gear shifter, so I replaced clutch pedal with handbrake like in old USA cars :D And its sort of works out pretty decant. Also, why in cockpit view drivers hands don't go all 900 degrees, that's meses with mind :D
you can do it :) i've learned how to drift in beamng with a 180 steering angle wheel taped to my desk only with my left hand and a lego hand brake that i made . If i can do it ,you can too :)
Your wheel position probably made it 10x harder, it's not supposed to be so low lol, get a lower seat, or just a foldable rig that can go under your desk like a playseat challenge or the superior next level racing f-gt lite, and it'll be wayy easier and more for to drive

100% you’ll get the hang of it! First 5-10 hours are a struggle then it clicks if you use the right techniques!

Your only issue was sitting too close to the steering wheel. The further you stretch your arms, the better control you have. Nice progress

Tip: some times you over turn just a little so I would practice just getting the turn clean
