The OG Citizen advised to wait 30min for an accurate temperature so the humpbuck is probably no worse 😆 Good to know about those strap adapters, they unlock a lot of possibilities 😎
Oh, this is interesting! 🤔 Thanks for sharing this, man. 🙏 IMO, such a request from the manufacturer is quite unreasonable. If we have to take it off for 30 mins, why not just check our phone 😄 It would be cool if they could calculate the predicted temperature, taking into account the average body temp interference with the sensor, and adjusting accordingly 👌 Oh yes! The adapters really open doors 😎
Hahaha, glad you enjoyed that OG Charlie 😎👌 Yep, it's not the first time I've heard that! 😉 She did get quite a substantial feature in my GST-B100 Review posted a couple of weeks back, hope you saw her! 😄
The orange NATO took that SW watch up a level. I just found your channel just as the two watch challenge was initiated. I also joined over at Watchcrunch. Long story short, I didn't really like double wristing. No one even noticed I was wearing two watches, not even my wife. At least no one said anything. I enjoyed the challenge of selecting my watches to be worn, but I felt the second watch was redundant. As I selected my watches, I noticed one watch seemed more dominant than the other. I can't tell you why, but it just seemed as if one watch overshadowed the other. That was my experience in the challenge, just thought I would share since you asked. Best to all.
Cheers Sam, I agree! 😁👌 Yo, that's awesome!! Glad to see you here, man. Haha, thats crazy! Not even the wife 👀 I'm glad you enjoyed participating in the challenge. 🙏 I can see why you thought this about the second watch. May I ask which pair you decided to go with? I appreciate you weighing in! 🤝
@@goatreviews I swapped the watches out. I own mostly homage watches, so no flexing here, just using brand names as a reference for the homage watches for simplicity's sake. I wore my Timex Easy Reader and Skmei 1123 at work because I work nights and often find myself way out in rural areas in the dark and they both have excellent backlights. So practicality had to take precedence over style on many days. Rolex Submariner, Black dial and bezel paired with Black resin Casio World Time. Hamilton Jazzmaster blue dial dial with silver chronograph dials and a Skmei 1123 in stainless. Rolex Hulk Submariner / w bracelet with a Timex easy reader in gold with a brown leather steap. @@SamuelTyree1 What a refreshing take. Oh my!! Now those are some AMAZING combos you’ve got going on there 🤩 I love that you’re willing to pair such diverse timepieces while double wristing. Thanks for sharing, Sam! 🙏
9:20 The Casio B640W does the same actually, you can hold the light button to keep it on and it'll stay on for another second after letting go. It also lets you flash the backlights on alarms and timers, including repeat timers. 15:30 That's a snap-back case, which is fairly standard in not water resistant pieces. There is a small lip, where you can pop it off with a special blunt knife designed not to damage the casing. Considering this is the caseback though, you did really risk it by showering and bathing with it. That NATO fits great, you got lucky with the orange colour. On the vacation I'm currently on, duel-wristing has been useful for wearing my calculator watch for board games. This next to my general wear Vostok, so it can automatically wind and as I still like it a lot.
Awesome feature, RedWyvern! 🙌 That's really cool to know for when I unbox mine someday! 👌 Interesting! Funny it's the first time I've really come across one for something so common 😅 I appreciate the tips! Thank god I didn't wreck mine haha. I sure did get lucky! I appreciate your participation, and sharing your experience in the Discord! 🙏
Nice video, I've always liked the Casio MQ-24 but I've never had one. I gravitate more towards 34mm Swatches and I currently have three, one is the other Pope watch the Once Again. And that other watch is sooooo cool!!!!
Thanks, brother! 🙏 Fair call - If it's good enough for the Pope, then surely the rest of us too! 😄 I might have to review a Swatch some day 👌 YES IT IS! 🔥😎
I have double wristed at work for the past 12 yrs. I wear a long sleeve so its not noticeable. 2 casio that i selected because i do stick my hands i to narrow passages so they work great calculator watch for math on my left with a 2nd stop watch if needed and on the right another that i fully dedicate as a stop watch. I know a phone can do this but i wear gloves and unlocking the phone is a pain having to take gloves off all the time. I also get calls while using it so double wrist allows me to multi-task.
I double wrist all the time at home but I would feel really uncomfortable doing it outside. 😅 Would have to try this some time. Thanks for another great vid.
I've worn two watches for years when driving for a living, just for safety if I have to glance at the time it maybe quicker and safer to glance down at my left or right wrist
The only bracelets where you can clamp anywhere are milanese bracelets, in my experience. These segmented bracelets do not accept clamping in random spots.
Great double review mate. Not sure I could pull off double wristing, but I did like the look of the Humpbuck. It's a shame about the temperature sensor though, G Shocks have the same problem...
Much appreciated, brother! 🙏 Haha, I understand. Not for everyone, for sure! 😁 It's pretty cool, right?! Yeah, I wish it were more accurate too. Interesting! I did not know G-Shocks had the same issue 😲
The "Pope Watch" is a legend! I've owned one for ages, which I use for any ocation. Never had itchy wrist on this, ever, it's actually the most comfortable watch I own. My only real gripe is the low WR. I recently got Q&Q's version of the MQ24.(The VP46J) They look and feel identical on my wrist. The MQ is about 1mm thinner with a slightly thinner strap. Key differences are cost and WR...Q&Q was almost 50% cheaper AND it has WR100m!!Time will tell how it compares, but perceived quality is on par with Casio..so far! If I may be so forward to give my opinion on this: I think the MQ would look AWESOME on your wife's slender wrist...How about a white one🤔
Incredibly versatile, and very smart! 👌 Fair point. I suppose the relatively lower WR rating is a weak-point. But at least you can bathe with it! 👌 Wow, that sounds incredible! Thanks for sharing this model with us. 🙏 Not at all - I very much a agree with you there. 👌 I might have to pick up a white one for her 😉
I love those lug adapters. That's a game changer for anyone who wants to put a different strap on one of the vintage Casios. Excellent review and i really like the vibe of the "rebel pilot".
Yes the itch is due to your wrist not being used to a watch. I double fist a CA53 on left and Apple Watch on the right. My wrist would itch when I started this look
Congratulations on completing the double wrist week challenge! I haven't tried it myself yet but why not eh!? Great mod job on the Rebel pilot, the orange MN really suits it. On the silver version perhaps a similar colour nato to the one you put on the modded casio LF-20w? Thanks for another inspirational video, cheers 👍
Yo! Cheers Rik 🍻 Why not indeed 😄 I appreciate the feedback on the Rebel Pilot. 👌 The strap was TOO PERFECT! 🤩 I actually had it ready for another project, but couldn't resist. If double wristing is good enough for General Norman Schwarzkopf it's good enough for me !! I always wear my Leatherman Tread knockoff and a Vostok or Casio. Often I'll wear a Vostok and an AliExpress heart rate tracker 👍
My wife recently got me a Tissot Sideral as a random present and I do not want this watch to ever leave my hand but I have so many nice time pieces I started double wristing a Sideral and a GMT. Sideral holds my current time and the GMT holds the time in Germany and India because this is where my colleagues are from
Double wristing? Not for me! I don't care what people think, but I'm 60 years old and would NEVER get used to wearing a watch on my dominant right wrist.
Funny you say that because I'm a habitual dominant wrist wearer. Ever since I got a g shock as birthday gift on my 12th birthday I have been wearing the watch on my right hand. Because it was a g shock it took every beating I gave it over my teen years. Years later I understood what g shock meant when a second watch blew out very easily. Till then I thought every good watch was as rugged. But, till my 21st year I was already habituated to wearing the watch on my right hand
Great video, funny and ironic. As I said during the unboxing I don't like these two watches, but I agree with the analysis of the pros and cons and I like the upgrade of the Nato strap. It is not embarrassing to wear two watches, it is a style like a tattooed arm but removable 😂. However, I do not find it comfortable especially in a work environment (not office) where I often hit objects with my right arm (the one with the added watch in my case). Finally, thank you very much for the mention and for my photos shown in the video, it is an honor my friend.
Haha, cheers Fratellini! 🍻 Glad you enjoyed the vibe 😁 I appreciate your unbiased opinion as always, and also your participation in the challenge. 🙏💯 Fair call, man! I did find myself hitting the watch on my right-wrist a bit too. 👌 No problem brother. I really value your long-time viewership! 🙏
