Pigpen was always my favourite. I remember one cartoon where, in the first frame, he exits his house all scrubbed and clean. Then he walks up the garden path gathering dirt until, in the final frame, he reaches the front gate a swirling mass of dust.
YES! Very glad this has returned, and a brilliant choice of subject. My Granddad liked to get me and my brother old VHS tapes of classic cartoons including Charlie Brown from car boot sales and charity shops. I'm not sure I had quite your level of artistic appreciation though, as the main thing I remember about it was nearly pissing myself laughing when there's a magic show and Charlie is selected from the audience with the words "yes, you...the boy with the large round head". I like to think I've moved on.
That is pretty funny. I still look up all the cartoon classics and watch one a day in the run up to Christmas. Charlie Brown is my favourite I think as well as 'The Box of Delights'.
@@marekl one of our family traditions has been to listen to 'A Carol Symphony' by Victor Hely-Hutchison on Christmas Day from which the theme tune to 'The Box of Delights' TV series was used. Merry Christmas cool dudes!
Grew up reading Peanuts, my love of it passed down from my Mum. There was a great Peanuts exhibition in London a few years ago that I really enjoyed. Favourite character is Woodstock.
This was great! Really appreciate being reminded of Peanuts, and the soundtrack. It's so good. Favourite character is def the intellectual with generalised anxiety, Linus. The term "security blanket" originates from him, which I think is wild.
I'm full of strong and mixed feelings Nostalgia, happiness and a bit of sweet sadness that I just can't explain. Thank you for this beautiful moment Marek
Brilliant drawing Marek. Yeah Vince Guaraldi's music inspired me to learn piano as a kid. Now I have that music stuck in my head of them all dancing. Christmas is Coming.
Catching up with your Mediocre Masterpieces and have loved them. About 20 seconds from the end I found myself repeatedly saying, "bauble!" out loud at my laptop. I got faster as the time was going down. No use to anyone. I'm glad you (cheated) managed to add it right at the end.
I hope you get more than peanuts for your drawing ! Happy Christmas to you and your family. My favourite character has to be Snoopy. It's a dogs life !
More cracking stuff that immediately transported me back to my childhood. I am now going to try and find more Charlie Brown to watch over the festive period. And dig out my old Calvin & Hobbes books for a re read. Thanks Mr Larwood, a festive flashback we all deserve. Have a good one. CD#123
On an unrelated note, i wanted to tell you Mr. Larwood how much i enjoyed you in We are Klang, you were the best thing about it. Being Canadian I miss out on most brilliant English comedy, but I'm glad i got to see it. Also, you're painting is brilliant too! ✌❤
Peanuts is incredible. Favourite character most definitely Schroeder. If you’re getting back into the comics I’d recommend the hardcover collections by Fantagraphics. Beautiful books. Lovely drawing sir!
The BEST picture choice to bring back this series! I also completely agree with you about not having a true appreciation for the humour and truth of Peanuts cartoons until you become an adult. Good to have you back on TH-cam, Marek!
Rewatching to up your view time. I may watch a few more later on because I'll be too exhausted to do anything else in this ridiculous heat. 🙄 Looking forward to your next walking vid. 🙃
Currently sitting at £77.00 .... bloody marvelous. Well done. 6 days still left to run.... get your bid in folks. 👏👏👏 Edit... forgot to say... Snoopy my favourite. Loved him as Red Baron fighter pilot. 😄 Mum was an amazing artist. She painted him for me laying on his kennel with little Woodstock 🙂👋
I was reading one about Woodstock starting his own farm the other day. He was driving a farm and growing his own radishes. It was very pleasing to read.
Alright! I loved the cartoons. I was always confused with the name of it. I knew it as snoopy, my uncle would call it Charlie Brown and my teacher would call it Peanuts. I didn't know it was the same thing, whenever I would speak about the 'snoopy' cartoon they would interupt me and yak about another (but actually the same) cartoon. Completely shattering my confidence. My favourite character was the yellow thing, which I now know as Woodstock. Good drawing, good video. Tar man
The Vince Guaraldi Trio soundtrack is a key part of my Christmas day. My sister and I listen while we cook the Christmas dinner. Happy Christmas Marek!
Great video Commissioner. Very well drawn :D My favourite character is Linus. Like him I have totemic items. I absolutely love Calvin and Hobbes :D Merry Christmas. I hope you have a great time :D
Merry Christmas. Yes the voice acting was great. I think the ones in the 60s sounded better than the modern ones, maybe because they were untrained actors and sounded more real.
This was cool, just like Charlie Brown who was just like everyone else. On the 18th of December could you do a Christmassy 'The Last Suppe' but with the faces of the Tory party? My favourite peanuts character was Peppermint Patty.
This series has been one of my favourite things on TH-cam ever so it’s great to see you back with more masterpieces 😃🎨✏️🖼 Wishing you a very happy Christmas too! 💚
Lovely stuff. It’s been far too long since I watched any Peanuts shows but, as for my fave characters, I recall particularly enjoying Woodstock and the unseen teacher with the muted trumped sound for a voice
Ah man great effort. I have Linus tattooed on my arm. He's my favourite cos I used to also suck my thumb and have a cosy blanket. I see you upgraded your pens
Five minutes to draw and talk at the same time stretched me to the very limits of my brain capacity. Normally I do 15 so I can edit out all the 'errrrrsss' and pauses but I thought it would be good to do an actual time one.
Same - came to help out by playin a video or two, but it’s turned into an all-out binge watch! Tho doesn’t matter how many times I see em, Mareks vids never fail to make me laugh 😁
Doing it is even more stressful. I was half way through filming this when I realised the cameras weren't running so had to start again. Then I got disturbed by the postman. This was my third recording.
Pigpen was always my favourite. I remember one cartoon where, in the first frame, he exits his house all scrubbed and clean. Then he walks up the garden path gathering dirt until, in the final frame, he reaches the front gate a swirling mass of dust.
Poor Pigpen. He must have absolutely stank.

It is already up to £77 on ebay!! With 6 days & 9 hours to go!! Good work Marek.
This was great! Really appreciate being reminded of Peanuts, and the soundtrack. It's so good.
Favourite character is def the intellectual with generalised anxiety, Linus. The term "security blanket" originates from him, which I think is wild.
Yes the music is brilliant. I put the album on TH-cam while I wrapped my Christmas presents. (yes, I have done it very early this year).
I think this channel needs another Marek vs Marek’s Dad op shop/ebay competition
I will ask him. He may have retired from my videos. Ha.
I'm full of strong and mixed feelings
Nostalgia, happiness and a bit of sweet sadness that I just can't explain.
Thank you for this beautiful moment Marek
Brilliant drawing Marek. Yeah Vince Guaraldi's music inspired me to learn piano as a kid. Now I have that music stuck in my head of them all dancing. Christmas is Coming.
His music is the reason I bought a keyboard this year. I have the music to Charlie Brown, I am still a million miles away from being able to play it.
Catching up with your Mediocre Masterpieces and have loved them. About 20 seconds from the end I found myself repeatedly saying, "bauble!" out loud at my laptop. I got faster as the time was going down. No use to anyone. I'm glad you (cheated) managed to add it right at the end.
So glad this series has been brought back!
Nice one. Thanks dude.
Please keep these up, and love the fact we got to watch the whole process
I kept it to five minutes, but you can hear my brain struggling to talk and draw at the same time.
I hope you get more than peanuts for your drawing ! Happy Christmas to you and your family.
My favourite character has to be Snoopy. It's a dogs life !
Thanks cool dude. Merry Christmas to you too.
You are magnificent! Thank you Marek.
No you are magnificent. Stay cool.

Calvin Hobbes is so brilliant. I have seen you can buy the complete works. I will save up for that next year I think.

Thanks cool dude. I am glad you enjoyed it. We were always better live than on the TV show. Have a great Xmas.
@@marekl God bless you and yours.
Hope you and all those you care for have a wonderful Xmas.
Thanks Nick. You too cool dude.
Peanuts is incredible. Favourite character most definitely Schroeder. If you’re getting back into the comics I’d recommend the hardcover collections by Fantagraphics. Beautiful books.
Lovely drawing sir!
Schroder was cool. I watched a great documentary on Charles Schulz. He really liked Beethoven.
The BEST picture choice to bring back this series! I also completely agree with you about not having a true appreciation for the humour and truth of Peanuts cartoons until you become an adult.
Good to have you back on TH-cam, Marek!
Love this 15 minute/5 minute whatever, inspires me to keep on having a go!
Rewatching to up your view time. I may watch a few more later on because I'll be too exhausted to do anything else in this ridiculous heat. 🙄
Looking forward to your next walking vid. 🙃
Merry Christmas my dude. Also amazing job, looked like the original.
Thanks cool dude. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas Marek! Hope Santa brings you a shiny new foil horse for being such a legend during this bonkers pandemic 👍🏻
Mmmm a foil horse.
Currently sitting at £77.00 .... bloody marvelous. Well done. 6 days still left to run.... get your bid in folks. 👏👏👏
Edit... forgot to say... Snoopy my favourite. Loved him as Red Baron fighter pilot. 😄 Mum was an amazing artist. She painted him for me laying on his kennel with little Woodstock 🙂👋
A welcome return to MMM! Your drawing skills have definitely improved. Think my favourite character is Woodstock. He's just cool.
I was reading one about Woodstock starting his own farm the other day. He was driving a farm and growing his own radishes. It was very pleasing to read.
My favorite character is either Snoopy or Marcy. Woodstock is also adorable.
I'm an artist who follows a lot of artist here on youtube, and you are by far my favorite channel to watch -
Thanks cool dude. That is very kind.
Cheers! Have a great Christmas!
Merry Christmas Dude.

Alright! I thought I would add, my uncle and my teacher were best friends. So this happend tons. Tar man
I read that Charles Schulz hated the name 'Peanuts' too. I always thought of it as 'Charlie Brown'.
@@marekl AHH man, somehow that makes me feel better.
The Vince Guaraldi Trio soundtrack is a key part of my Christmas day. My sister and I listen while we cook the Christmas dinner. Happy Christmas Marek!
Brilliant as usual
Thanks cool dude.
That was really good Marek. Merry Christmas 🤶🏻
Merry Christmas to you cool dude.
Great video Commissioner. Very well drawn :D
My favourite character is Linus. Like him I have totemic items.
I absolutely love Calvin and Hobbes :D
Merry Christmas. I hope you have a great time :D
Very unoriginal answer but my favourite Peanuts character is definitely Snoopy. Your Charlie Brown looks great and you really got Snoopy's face well!
Snoopy's hat looks like it is covering up a massive extension to the back of his head.
@@marekl we don't know what's under there......
Aww brilliant! I love these vids.
I loved the way the adults sounded in Charlie Brown.
Merry Crimbo cocker! 😁🎅🎄
Merry Christmas. Yes the voice acting was great. I think the ones in the 60s sounded better than the modern ones, maybe because they were untrained actors and sounded more real.
Oh wow! So happy you've brought MMM back! Love it 👍🤓
Stay cool Marek 😎
Thanks Cool Dude. I think I will just do annual Christmas ones. Although I might try a Plein Air next year.
This was cool, just like Charlie Brown who was just like everyone else. On the 18th of December could you do a Christmassy 'The Last Suppe' but with the faces of the Tory party? My favourite peanuts character was Peppermint Patty.
OMG Kieran's! He should put his up on eBay, too!
Those looked like Shultz to me!

My favourite character is woodstock and I've still no idea what it is meant to be. A small bird?
Pig pen was my favourite
Excellent work……now perhaps paint/build a model or miniature?😉😁
That is a good idea. I will send off for some Fimo.
@@marekl Super Sculpey is good and cooks in the oven!

Linus was my favorite. Five minutes while giving a lecture might have been too restrictive. You did marvelously though.

Marek, dooo moree
Very good drawing, have you been practising?
I did do one before I realised one of my cameras was not recording so I had to start again.
