    A nephew of mine has just taken exactly this trip from Washington DC to NYC Penn Station this weekend. Your good work allowed me to see some of the things he saw, right from my living room armchair here in Brazil!!
    Thank you guys!!!

      I hope he enjoyed the trip, train travel is the way to go in USA. So happy you could share the experience with him via TH-cam all the way from Brazil, very cool. Thanks so much for your nice message made my day.

    When your train pulled into nyc after you went upstairs were you already in moynihan or did you have to find it?

    • @sachabunnik
      @sachabunnik  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      when you arrive in NYC, the plate form is under the main hall, you take escalators up and your there. Its such a nice way to arrive into Manhattan’s heart

      @@sachabunnik ok thank you I ask because I've seen other videos and ppl when they go up the stairs end up on the penn station side. Maybe there's two locations on the platform? One for moynihan the other penn station?

      @@Jaugarez you could be right, as both buildings are right next to each other above the platforms

    What's the difference between business and coach classes based on this video? 5 years ago I was going from NYC to Washington DC by business class Amtrak. The seats were separated from each other, and they could be reclined much more than the seats in coach. As a bonus, you could get a free cup of tea/coffee.

    • @sachabunnik
      @sachabunnik  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching. The main difference is space, you have leas seats per car so more leg room and wider seats. With less people per car is less noise as well

    Thank you very much for the wonderful video. Two question: Does the luggage have to be checked into the luggage trolley or can it be taken by me into the compartment? And another question: How much time in advance should you be at the station?

    • @sachabunnik
      @sachabunnik  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      thanks for watching really appreciate it. You can take baggage into the compartment, there is storage above the seats and at the end of each carriage. I always like to be early, so around 45 minutes before train departure time. Both stations are big and busy, so getting early allows you to find your platform and also to look around the station. Hope this helps

    Is a 1 day round trip from dc to nyc worth it?

    • @sachabunnik
      @sachabunnik  ปีที่แล้ว

      It would be a long day, but if you take first and last trains you would have a full day in nyc

    A very nice train station. Now all you have to do is improve to highspeed bullet train technology which is also, (fully electric). Wish i could board in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and be in Jacksonville Florida in about 4 to 6 hours by bullet train reaching speeds of up to 200 to 225 mph and not so much as a ripple on your martinis. Better than 11.5 to 12.5 hours by car or 13.5 to 14.5 hours by EV. The country that can put a man on the moon and yet can't achieve highspeed bullet train technology which is something the mighty United States of America should of had decades ago. Highspeed bullet trains and maglev super train technology, the new american dream. Hats off to you China, Europe, Japan and now add India to the list for their highspeed rail project is going smoothly...

      Thanks for watching. That would be amazing to be able to travel highspeed in America 🇺🇸 maybe one day

      @@sachabunnik And that's a big maybe. The western people have to much stupidity, ignorance and blindness. The entire United States is led by a government made up of people who are idiots. They rather give away hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars to other countries so they can fight their wars along with other serious mismanagements. Highspeed bullet trains will forever be the new american dream....
